    Best defender in the league
Gotta love midnightpulp's style...what a level of level of equality....bumping LMA and Kawhi threads per par.

Someone can hear what they said during the game about Harden/other player 18-55 against Kawhi? Since Kawhi doesn't defend Harden very often I think it wasn't about Harden...

Rewatched. Confirmed. It was 18-55 Harden against Kawhi before the game.

    Another good stuff

Justise Winslow was interviewed by the media after the Heat beat the Pacers recently and they asked him what he thought about being compared 'defensively' to Kawhi. It's around the 2:03 mark.

Winslow has a tiny body compared to Kawhi. Kawhi is in a different stratosphere than this kid.

Right now yes...but Winslow is only 19 years old and a rookie. It's pretty amazing to see where he's at already defensively, and I have no doubt he'll be one of the best defenders in the league in a few years. But you're right in that he doesn't have that suffocating length that Kawhi has (6'10" wingspan vs. 7'3" wingspan).

I gave your mom some suffocating length last night.

JUST KIDDING! Don't get so mad. It was a "your mom" joke.

Anyways, some numbers to give a better idea of how dominant Kawhi has been this year defensively...

    Opponent 2-point FG% = 40.1% (-7.4% compared to their averages)
    Opponent 3P% = 27.2% (-8.0% compared to their averages)

Isolation: .59 ppp on 34 possessions (87th percentile)
    PnR ball-handler: .63 ppp on 112 possessions (85th percentile)
    Post-up: .43 ppp on 14 possessions (99th percentile)
    Spot-up: .85 ppp on 84 possessions (72nd percentile)
    Hand-off: .68 ppp on 22 possessions (83rd percentile)
Off screen: 1.08 ppp on 50 possessions (30th percentile) --> basically the only weak spot

Pretty amazing...especially considering what he's doing on the offensive end as well

Studying Kawhi, how his offense took more time before becoming a top two-way player...It's nice to hear that these young players want to fit on Kawhi's mold...High praise for Kawhi and his strong work ethic.

All this and still getting better on defense...
