He's a great backup PG, but he's not really a true point, so if he gets put in 1st string duty he really struggles. Not his comfort zone.
As a backup, he can allow the game to come to him and be a spark off the bench. Definitely more his wheelhouse.![]()
Jazz 3rd string PG: 17 points on 8-13 shooting. Patty 0-4 0 points.
Patty's defensive performance just can't be measured by mere stats!![]()

Oh I know. I just like bugging Dabom
It's pretty hilarious watching him scramble to defend his schtick. One of the poorest trolls I've ever seen on the internet. At least I hope he's trolling and not actually that stupid.![]()
I've been watching Patty all game. Not even close to a bad game. 4 missed shots isn't anything. He has been pushing the ball up court and moving away from the action. Exactly the type of PG we need.
You don't know about winning basketball got.![]()
No mention of how the 3rd string Jazz PG is having one of his best games of the season.
DOMINANT DEFENSE.![]()
Don't use +/- but he is 3-4th in the game. what ya watch.![]()
If Parker put up identical numbers in a blow out win, there'd be a thread about how he sucks.
Burkes making tough shots. You can live with those. His D is still way better than good.
"Numbers don't matter!"
Apparently even if the 3rd string PG is outscoring you by 17.![]()
Except if he is playing his role, no one really gives a dumbass. It's when he tries to heroball that I have a problem with.
I agree its painful to watch when someone else has a hot hand and parker ignores them.
But Patty getting dumpstered by a borderline D league player is cause for creating a thread about how great he's playing.![]()
Tough shots is fine. The guy wasn't getting layups. You can live with that. Do you watch basketball got?![]()
This is what happens when you try to convert a non-pg into a pg. A whole lot of nothing. He does well with the second unit because Ginobili is the de facto pg. His only responsibility with the second unit is to shoot. It's the reason why the Spurs can afford to keep Patty instead of losing him to free agency. If he could actually play pg and run an NBA offense, he'd easily command 5M+/year. I guess in a way, that's good for the Spurs because they desperately need his offense coming off the bench.
You really take this stuff seriously, huh?
I just like to watch good basketball.
Oh, I see. That's why you say "no one gives a dumbass" to a stranger...
Seems reasonable.
Game high 21 points, one of the best games of the season from Burke, but scoreless Patty had a monster defensive game and dominated on offense while being held scoreless.
Seriously question: Are you ok? Do you need some help? I can picture you at your desk furiously rubbing your aussie hair doll as your blood pressure skyrockets every time Patty misses a shot or Burke eats him up.
Careful. He'll triple post about you and call you a got. Because in his world that's really edgy and tough.![]()
Why would I? Patty Mills #65 in RPM. Higher than our starting PG and what he does doesn't usually show in the BS. He still had a good game. Positively impacted the team by pushing the ball and passing it off to whoever has it going.
+13 3rd best on the team. You don't know about basketball.![]()
Yep, Patty's doing great. Second best point guard on the team for sure.
0 points.
dacuck taking sausages, per par.
WTf does this have to do with my thread got?![]()
