Coach Pop wont be coach, it should be Walton!

"I'm looking at the play by play"
def the best part
😳😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Totally got me. I read the post...and then re-read it, looked at who posted the message, went through my mental database of posters, and was stunned. Nicely done.
Either this or Apa 9 is Nono's troll. He just forgot to change accounts. Quite clever, and it explains everything. Using Kawhi, instead of HIS client to fuel the Parker hate. Nice touch to add Manu in the OP. It all makes sense now.
I think you're right. Nono is the board's resident evil genius.
He even started the "should Apa be pinked?" thread. Coincidence?

The one bright side of Kobe being listed as a small forward (which could cost Leonard a starting spot), is that it frees up a guard spot next to Curry. Westbrook is having an unreal season, so he's basically got it locked up BUT it shouldn't stop America from voting for Damian Lillard.
Why? Right now, he's slated to make 25% of the cap with his extension. Under the Rose rule, he'd be 30% in his first year. He got third team All NBA last year, but he's unlikely to make the team this year with Portland being down and Curry-Westbrook-Butler-Lowry-Harden-Paul all ahead of him on better teams, not to mention guys like John Wall. Other way to make sure he starts the ASG.
With a $90 million cap, that's a $4.5 million hit to Portland in year one, and almost $6 million per year in the outer years.

Every OKC fan should be voting daily on every device they own after Olshey gave Kanter that silly RFA offer that the Thunder were forced to match.
lul
Also, I think there's a few million moronic Kobe fans to blame.
ElNono I thought you were joking, as in blue font joking, but this thread will be entirely out of context if no one told you, since you didn't watch the game, that the entire 4th Q was garbage time, that was when we saw Kyle and others play. Obviously Kawhi sat out the entire 4th Q....
ElNono with a gem of a troll OP![]()
Blake Griffin is stat padding on 30 pts blowouts.... That's how All Stars are made...
That's why I'm saying Pop is sabotaging him, tbh... thanks for the clarification tho![]()
This is the time Pop finds to develop though.
Even Ray played, and you know Ray has been very scarce on playing time. Kyle played really well, and Simmons, although playing well in the regular rotation, kind of fizzled out and went d'league in garbage time. (film to look at, opportunities to improve). Boban was a force throughout, and continued his domination in garbage time.
There is no other time to find minutes for all of these guys, and who knows what roles they could have this season or the next.
Blake Griffin statpadding could be one of the reasons why Clippers bench sucks (it's not, but I would much rather have Pop develop a bench than not).
ElNono that satirist.
Cos Ray sucks, and Pop knows it.
I think Ray is good, tbh. How has he done in the D-League?
It's going to be pretty ing ridiculous if an MVP candidate doesn't get a spot on the all star team, tbh.
If you're into PGs that shoot 38 percent and have no outstanding value, maybe.
Not really. He's getting less and less shots, 16.6 FGA in november, 13.1 in december, 12 in January...you can see the tendency.
On the other hand, Dray, Klay, Davis, Cousins, Harden, these guys have scored 25-30+ points in the last games, they'll be the reserves, not Kawhi.
OP's right after all...
You're a complete re if you think Kawhi won't be on the All Star team (barring an injury). And I don't throw around that word lightly.
This isn't the mid-90s NBA where you picked All Stars by PPG.
Yes, there's a chance he has to go as a reserve if Blake edges him, but even that's unlikely with Blake hurt.
In which world Kawhi would be voted by coaches over Cousins-Davis-Dray 30 points games? If you really think this is true and offensive performances don't count to be selected I can't help but you're so...naive.
You're acting like Kawhi is scoring like 12 PPG. Because you like counting stats so much, he's friggen 10th in the conference in scoring on under 15 shots a game. 20th in rebounding with every other player ahead of him besides Durant playing PF or C (i.e., guarding someone closer to the basket). Over 2 SPG (4th) with the guys ahead of him all being PGs (more opportunities). Oh, and tops in the league in 3pt%.
I know you're not good for it, but I'd literally bet any amount of money and give you whatever odds you wanted (20-to-1, 30-to-1) that he'll be an All Star barring injury. The bigger question is whether he'll get first team All NBA or second. Depends on if the voters force a traditional big onto the first team or even Draymond.
Isn't Pop going to be the coach this year?
So the 9 guys above him in scoring have a legitimate chance to make the AS roster over him.
