If we go with West/Bobo in at the same time in the playoffs we'll get barbecued in the paint. I sure hope they stagger minutes to avoid turd towers or try Boban a little
Depends on the match-ups, they can do quite well against a number of teams, including GS. Besides, with a tighter rotation their time together could easily me limited if needed.

Also, the Bobo-West combo has actually been quite good in line-ups that don't include Danny Green or Kyle Anderson. West-Bobo-Kawhi-Manu-Patty is a killer.

Seems like that combo would be good for like a 22–17 run in a matter of 6 minutes (i.e., a lot of scoring). Problem with this is it gives teams confidence and kind of screws up our defense for the rest of the game no matter who we put back in because we've already let them out of the box. So +/- doesn't tell the whole story here.

Well the aforementioned line-up, which is a very likely playoff 2nd quarter line-up currently has a 91.1 Def Rating. Not bad.

Some of the Spurs wins this year seem to be over really inferior teams.

Only sure thing this games accomplishes is a better record.

Jan. should be interesting, looking at the schedule.

And those are the 9th, 12th, 10th and 11th guys on our depth chart respectively.

Still we really need to pick up the defense, it's been embarrassingly bad of late
Not really. Playing our bench for long stretches and still holding teams under 100 points.

still, other teams have gotten lots of layups and dunks recently

Jazz actually played well both offensively and defensively. Spurs were just playing at a different level. It is as if the Spurs are playing without looking at the scoreboard. Working on their plays all night long and then at the end of the game, it just happens to be a 20+ point blowout.

Spurs will need to keep tweaking their game as to maximize their debt. I just hate the idea of shortening the rotation come playoff time. If you look at shooting efficiency, the bench players are pretty good compared to the starters.

I think when rotations get a little shorter or we play better compe ion, Pop will have the standard lineups in. Usually plays much better on D.

    I agree with this assessment.

The guys are hungry quite simply and they are focused on developing. They will come out and take it to whomever. It's not even, "lets hold this lead."

The mentality is: I got to get my game ironed out and get better if I want Pop to consider me for bigger roles down the road that means I have got to dominate these guys in the opponents's bench, whomever they are. These are not limited guys with no possible upside like a Reggie Williams, Daye, Ayers etc.
