A lot of first misteps up in this .
1.Ridiculous price tag
2.Requires for a top of the line computer 1000 give or take.
3.The First version of the Oculus Rift is said to have a lifespan of that of a smartphone. Which means, a year top.

It's not a mistep IMO, it's a high end piece of tech. Broke peasants need not worry about playing VR games on high end PC's anyway, it's like a black family complaining that the Ferrari is priced at 200k in my most humble of opinions.

It honestly looks pretty badass. They have been upfront for a year now that you need a high end system to run it. It's 25% higher resolution than 1080p and needs to run at 90 frames per second, so of course it needs much better hardware than a Poorstation 4.
I'm interested in seeing what the Playstation VR is all about. Still won't buy it but I'm more incline to buy a VR gadget that actually is meant for games full time.
Also this being one of my all time favorite game, it would be cool playing it with it..

4k monitors aren't cheap either, last I checked. Why is it crazy that the Rift is $600 but some monitors are easily $1k or more?

Maybe for someone with no responsibilities and someone who lives with their mom's at her basement doesn't have to worry about spending almost a thousand dollars on some piece of unproven equipment.
