He dribbles from the perimeter like a SF. He doesn't need to post up big guys when he's moving around them and getting where he wants to go.
A rookie Duncan sometimes played at SF spot too when he was playing alongside DRob & Perdue and his dribbling skill was solid, doesn't mean he was ever designed to be a perimeter player in the future. Like early years Nowitzki, has enough speed & handle to beat opponent bigs from perimeter, with deadly outside shooting to open up the opportunities for it. Nowitzki played post up fade away jumper later in his career IIRC.

At least I had one year with Onyekwe and Archibong when they got an 11 seed and lost to Tony Allen's OSU team. Melo played in the first game that day in Boston to kick off his le run.

Went to the tournament three of my four years there, the last year being up at the half on LMA's Texas squad with Ibby. Then it was all downhill.

Pales in comparison to people who went in 70s and saw a Final Four or two other Elite Eights.

Miller inherited Dunphy's team and his recruits never panned out. But of a game coach, was the tactician on Napier's UConn le team.
When I was there for my visit, the guy giving the presentation ended his speech by asking us to root for Penn vs A&M in the tourney. I grew up an Aggies fan, so I was like, "Yeah, right." Had no idea that I was so easily rooting against my future school.

People ing about a close win against the Knicks and I turn on my tv and OKC is struggling against the Lakers. I wonder if they have fans who think they're 1st round fodder...
Dude... the Knicks look pretty good... the front like of Lopez, Prozingis and Anthony are pretty formidable. You also got Affalo and Calderon as guards.

WTF... It's like a Hispanic All Star team with the exception of the Latvian!

I looked it up. 3 pt shooting was a factor in this game, and we had been defending the 3 really well, except against PF that shoot 3s.

    Ryan Anderson anyone? Teletovich?

Pop will be specially upset with the lack of defense on the 3, they made some contested ones, but there were a few that were open. the ones Carmelo hit were open, so were Porzingods. Our bench really didn't have the 3 rolling tonight. Knicks defended our 3s well. I even thought the one Tony took was not an open look for him.
Porzingis at 7'3" shooting the 3 is unstoppable. The only thing more unstoppable is 7'5" Boban shooting the 3.

It will not be blocked, but you can cloud his vision.
The PnP with Porzingis will be a terror for teams. Reminds me of Nowitzki in that aspect.
