Durant with 0 shots in the last 3:45 ..rofl..
Sad, but we are already seeing something simliar developing in our team when it comes to Kawhi getting forgotten like this..
Lillard passed first half 3 points
Durant with 0 shots in the last 3:45 ..rofl..
Sad, but we are already seeing something simliar developing in our team when it comes to Kawhi getting forgotten like this..
They were doubling Durant and Westbrook
Fouled Adams once to Make him shoot free throws
Did u watch game
And at getting to NBA finals, and at getting to WCF, and at beating the Spurs, and at playing basketball.
Best you can hope for is leaving Morrow and Waiters open to fill up on 3's all game.
You mean when they had Scott Brooks & actually played defense.........."back in my days"![]()
No, I mean when they have Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka and a clear mental advantage (for whatever reason) against the Spurs when they matchup.
Except they haven't beaten the Spurs in SAN ANTONIO w/ Kawhi in the lineup since 2014 meanwhile the Clippers are the last team to win in San Antonio BOTH in the regular reason & postseason. OKC beat the Spurs when HARDEN was the 6th man, Kawhi was a IN' rookie, Patty was the 15th man & Danny was a 1st year starters.......for in' sakes Stephen Jackson was hitting 6 threes, now you can find him downing 6 packs. OKC is great home team but has been getting smashed on the road in the playoff since Harden left so get over it.
According to your logic the Memphis Grizzlies are a legit threat to beat the Spurs since they have the core from 2011...![]()
Still a bigger threat to us than the ing Los Angeles Clippers. Stop arguing so much son, you are wrong most of the times.
You are making statements without any evidence just like mainstream media.![]()
OKC have a better record, a way better pt differential (a very important tool to show which teams are the best. Maybe even better than the actual record) and a better record against the Spurs. You can use that as evidence if you want.
It's the ACTUALLY matchup that matters not what they did against OTHER TEAMS or random regular season games where Pop plays mad scientist (or Kawhi is injured in OKC's case). Remember the 2011 Grizzlies being the #8 seed, the 2014 Mavs being the #8 seed & the 2013 OKC squad sweeping the Spurs in the regular season before getting smashed at every game in San Antonio with & without Ibaka. The 2014 Blazers also smashed the Spurs in the regular season & basically got swept.
If we go by RECENT history, the Clippers have given the Spurs more trouble than any team BOTH in the regular season & postseason BOTH away & at home, BOTH with & without Kawhi.
Let's go Heat, tbh... but a futile hope with that guy with the armpit flavored indian sauce last name playing
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS STOP NUMBER THIRTY!! Are you ing re ed, Miami? Ugh!
I got 1/3 tonight, and only the easy/least important one. this life
Dude, OKC has always given the Spurs fits. In the regular season, in the playoffs, with Ibaka, without Ibaka, with Harden, without Harden, with Kawhi, without Kawhi.
The Clippers barely beat us last season with home court advantage, a better team than they have right now and with everyone on the Spurs playing like (for the entire season, not just against them. So you can't blame those bad individual performances to a matchup problem). There's just no chance the Clippers beat the Spurs this season. With a littke luck they might make it an "easier than what the numbers indicate" 6 games series.
For what is worth, I think the Spurs would beat the Thunder too, but they would surely make life much harder for us.
How is hard for you to comprehend that the OKC that has been "pain in the ass" has turned into one of the worst 4th quarter defensive teams in the league. Their point differential & DRtg is a result of them slaughtering ty teams like the Lakers. They also lost Reggie Jackson who used to slaughter Patty. OKC was checkmated when Pop used Diaw to attack Durant in Gm 5 of the 2014 series.
OKC beat the Spurs in the season opener b/c Pop rolled out Diaw/West against Kanter/Adams along w/ Waiters having his one of those random efficient nights plus it was freakin' LMA's first game in a Spurs uniform. On the other hand, Pop had to resort to hacking DeAndre to slow down the Clippers even when the Spurs were in the mist of a historic defensive run. Kawhi current can neutralize Durant unlike PAST SEASONS but he still can't do a thing to slow down the Blake/Cp3 PnR or Re running through a million screen. Not to mention Austin Rivers looks like an All-Star everytime he's matched up w/ Patty.
Clippers have won 9 in a row WITHOUT Blake meanwhile a healthy/hot OKC team just lost to the Blazers while making Lillard seem like Steph Curry. OKC is 8-9 against above .500 teams & they haven't even played the Warriors (they beat the Spurs/Clippers/Magic in a game that could have gone either way). Clippers meanwhile lost two games against the Warriors that they were leading in the 4th quarter along w/ the Spurs/OKC game that could have gone either way.

And how hard is for you to comprehend that even with all that OKC are a bigger threat to the Spurs than the Clippers? Look, we are not going to get in line with this thing. We will just have to wait and see.
