Man, Rockets fighting to stay above .500. I always said they sucked though.
There will be some circle jerking today, Warriors are set to drop one since they're putting it on cruise control. No need to give 100% in Denver of all places.
Don't think it is a stretch to say a healthy Wizards is top 4 team in the East...they have been snake bitten this season..and have actually some solid wins when they are full (Spurs/Cavs/Mavs)..
Carlisle doesn't seem to be afraid of playing anyone outside of the Dubs/Spurs in the 1st rd. He also rested all the starters except Parson following their 2OT win against the Kings but they ended up beating the Pelicans.Tonight seems like an insult to Billy Donovan & Carlisle would most likely run circle around him in the playoffs so he's just going to save Dirk's legs & let the walking injured (Wes/Deron/Parsons) rehab.
I wouldn't be surprised if OKC's defense made Javale/Barea seem like Amare/Nash, tbh.![]()
They also just beat the Bulls, their issue is that they are extremely inconsistent.
The Nuggets took them to OT in the game Faried almost broke his neck so they might be afraid of retaliation.![]()
Nah, Warriors have two solid blowouts against Nugs this season. There's no reason for them to in Denver guns blazing.
they are having some success playing Small ball with Dudley at center..they are not totally out it; if they could catch break with injuries they could become a dicey low seed you wouldn't want to face in R1 if they sneak in..in fact all series from 2-8 seed out East will be on upset alert..
Yeah, they can beat up the Lakers by 65 tomorrow if they miraculously lose to Denver tonight
Isn't Faried out, too?
Nuggets have no chance.
Pepsi center is one of the toughest arenas for the road teams when the Nuggets are compe ive/healthy & Gallo is rolling so they could have used Draymond.
But they're not compe ive. They lost to the Lakers... in Pepsi Center
Leading scorer Danilo Gallinari is averaging 25.8 points in five games since returning from a sprained ankle, while rookie Emmanuel Mudiay (ankle) had 11 and six assists in his first game back from a month-long absence during Sunday's 95-92 win over slumping Charlotte.Gallinari recorded 27 points and the Nuggets held on despite going scoreless over the final 4:17.
"It was kind of an ugly win at the end," he said. "I'll take it. We needed one."
Denver was without Kenneth Faried (personal) for a second straight game and Jameer Nelson sat out with a hip injury, though both are expected to play tonight.
You forgot the HEALTHY part. They were missing Gallo/Mudiay & Kobe was making BS shots. They have now gotten back Nurkic (along w/ Gallo/Mudiay) who could maul the Warriors in the paint.
Up to the Warriors, if they want they can blow the Nuggets out. Still, I think they're planning to slow it down - they have the Lakers and Pistons coming up before facing Cavs again and that will be an important game.
JJ trolling the out of chimpbrook![]()
A Tunisian professional basketball player leading the Mavs in scoring.![]()
Tuned into Hulu now; but it was good to see the Dubs down to the Nuggets, 38-44.
