Melo passes Drummond. I expect Chuck will complain about fans voting before the game.
Barring some crazy occurrence, looks like Draymond is going to start over KawhiWouldn't be an issue if Kobe weren't getting undeserved votes, but oh well. Kawhi will still get picked by the coaches and be an all-star for the first time in his career which will be cool.
Out of all of those, maybe the most ridiculous (aside from Kobe) is Millsap getting less than 30k votes. He's been fantastic this year.

Thanks for posting OP!
As I said in the GT really surprised that surly Rondo is more popular than Manu and Tony.
Kawhi is a lock from the coaches.
Hoping LMA or Duncan gets in too.
Kyrie has no business making it..
Irving doesn't deserve a selection this year either.
If LMA continues to play like he has since December, I think he'll make it. Don't see Duncan making the team, but I'd imagine he won't lose too much sleep over that. He'd probably rather rest and spend time with his kids.
System is rigged. Planned from the start. Since they put Kobe as a Frontcourt. Its a completely joke.
KL should get in over Green- love Dray, but its a felony that the spurs won't have even one starter...oh well, can use it as motivation vs us on jan 25th.
It would be great to see three Spurs make the team. Duncan, Aldridge, Leonard.
Only way Kawhi gets a huge bump is with a big game tonight.
Green's got two national TV (TNT) games though, including the MLK Day one against Cleveland. I bet that helps him maintain the edge.
Feel a little sorry for Aldridge, he might be out of the allstar this year. He won't care if we win a championship though.
He can still make it, tbh. His compe ion is Dirk and/or Cousins.
Wow, we need to start voting for Duncan. Although he wont start, we can't have Zaza Pachulia getting more votes than him.
There are 15 slots (effectively 16 as Blake will get selected but might not play, so his spot will open up). LMA has a good chance given our near-historic pace.
12 spots
I always thought there was 12 too, then looked it up on Wikipedia and it says 15. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBA_All-Star_Game
I imagine you are right though. Never trust the internet.![]()
That's awful. Millsap is arguably the most productive PF in the East. Atlanta fans should be ashamed.
i always remember there being 7 reserves. 2 guards, 2 forwards, a center, 2 wildcards
Could be. But don't underestimate the mind and passion of a compe or like Tim Duncan. IMO Tim had retired already if he had felt the need of spending more time with his kids.
As long as 2 spurs make it, i cant be mad
No telling. The coach of the west is unpredictable.
Kobe being in the frontcourt is a travesty. He's been in the backcourt his whole career iirc. The league just didn't want to bump one of Curry and Westbrook.
That said, the voting is mostly a popularity contest anyway. I can't see the Spurs getting fewer than two All-Stars if they keep this record up. Kawhi is obviously a lock and I'd bet good money that Aldridge will make it too. Very little chance of any other Spur getting a reserve spot.
