I wouldn't say he can't if he gets 37 mpg. But baby steps all the same.

Why is this thread still a thing?

Did you ever stop to get gasoline, on a long trip? And when you pass the bathroom you think, "Well as long as it's here, I might as well stop in to take a piss".

Spurt keeps reviving the thread, and everyone else just stops in to piss on it. It's just too convenient to pass up.

Q: Is ChumpDumper as smart as a Bosnian Taxi Driver?
    A: Nay.

I was in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago, riding in a taxi from the airport to the hotel where I would be staying. As we were going past the Smoothie King Center I happened to mention to my driver that I was from near the hometown of one of the New Orleans Pelican's former players. When the driver, who by the way was from Bosnia, asked who I was taking about, I said, "A guy by the name of Jimmer Fredette. Ever heard of him?" That's all I needed to say.
The taxi driver replied, " Yes, Jimmer. I love Jimmer. Jimmer can play. No coach give him a chance!"
I thought to myself, "Heck, even the Bosnian taxi driver knows what us Jimmer followers know!"

So the only positive quotes you can find about Jimmer are from white and/or Mormon bloggers and Bosnian taxi drivers.

I think you spend you time scouring the internets really, really hard for anything remotely positive about Jimmer. It just happens that anything positive about him will be written by white/Mormon bloggers.

You realize when I say you try so hard, that that's a euphemism for you're a sad sac, right?

Jimmer's lowest scoring game of the season:

12 Pts on 4-12 FG. But he played well on defense and had a -7 in 33 minutes on a night that his team lost by 20.

and had a -7 in 33 minutes on a night that his team lost by 20.

You're STILL quoting +/- as if it means something? Tell me something, dip ... who led the Spurs in +/- in the Pistons game Tuesday night?

Don't bother looking it up. It was Kawhi. In his worst game of the season, a night when he couldn't do much of anything like Kawhi normally does, he leads the team with +11. Earlier in the season, on a night when Kawhi had 26 points, 8 boards, 5 AST, and 2 steals, he wound up with a +4.

Kawhi scores 7 points on 1-7 shooting and is +11... Parker scores 31 on 13-19 shooting and he's +7. Get it? The +/- doesn't tell you about how in individual played. It may look like it does sometimes, but it's pretty much an accident when that happens.

J-J-J-Jimmer shot 33% and wasn't a factor against the other scrubs, and you're trying to spin it like he didn't have such a bad game. Nothing catapults you to the top of the stupid list like trying to use +/- to validate your man-crush.

In his worst offensive game of the season, clearly, KL was a HUGE factor in the devensive scheme.

And did I say Jimmer had a great game? Nay. But I note that he does things to be a difference maker and that his defense was sound.

iirc Iowa Energy is government-subsidized corn ethanol. Can't blame Jimmer for not beating it; it's entrenched in politics like one of those sci-fi brain parasites that you can't kill without killing the host.

The guards were struggling early in this game (vs. Cle). Pop would've went to CoJo if he had him. No way in he was going to Corpse McCallum. We could've used Jimmer's scoring punch and floor spacing though and his high efficiency offense in general.

Spurs could've used Jimmer's FT shooting at the end of that game (Cle).

Spurs beat the Cavs without that scrub Jimmer.
