Other than the decision, which was and is an unmitigated disaster for his public image, I find it hard to hate LeBron. He has always been classy to the Spurs and for all of his self-absorption (a common trait among American born NBA basketball players), he still plays the game the right way and respects his oppenents. He'll never shake the stink from the decision, but Spurs fans should have the least amount of hate for him given our history with him.

If "The Decision" is the worst thing LeBron ever did in his career, then he is better than 95% of pro athletes nowadays. I'm actually a big LeBron James fan. He's my favorite non-Spur.

Lebron has always struck me as a genuinely nice guy that just has some serious social awareness and ego issues. Probably comes from being put on a pedestal at such a young age.

I think he genuinely TRIES to do the right thing, but then doesn't understand when the stuff he does (like the decision being "for the kids") backfires. Dude was coddled so much as a teenager, and his mother is clearly a piece of work, I think he's turned out as a pretty decent person all things considered. He just has a huge ego.

Lebron looks just about as tall as Duncan?

Duncan is slouching and leaning back in that picture that's why he looks a little bit smaller than normal.

Hard to dislike lebron tbh. The decision was a bad look but he seems like a decent dude otherwise and really respects the Spurs and duncan in a way that others haven't .

Still prefer the Warriors over the Cavs, and would prefer to see LeBron lose again. Though I still hate OKC more than I've ever hated any other team in the NBA, including the 00s Lakers.

LBJ subtext: "You've been a thorn in my side. Retire already!"

    Props to LBJ

I could do without the "from 1 king to another comment" but other than that, pretty nice gesture.

Hopefully some day these people refer to Tim as 'the greatest big man of all time' not just 'greatest PF of all time'

Doubt Tim sees it as he doesn't do social media.

I like the props from LBJ, but you know I wish he wasn't so quick to admire everyone. I'd like a little more Jordan/Bird "I want to kick their ass". But LBJ has no problem respecting his elders (like Tim, Tony, Manu) but its funny to see him so dismissive (threatened?) by those younger than him (example Kawhi. ) He'll show great respect to the past, but we see a different side of him when someone threatens his future or present status as undisputed "king".
