Back at the AT&T Center tonight to take on a 23-18 Mavs team that has lost 5 of their last 10, but is coming off a win in Chicago. Mavs always play us tough so hopefully we don't get off to a slow start again. Everyone is expected to play tonight. Let's get it.

Dem arms strong enough to carry us to 6, tbh
Dem shoulders....
I'm always concerned about playing the Mavs. Carlisle is the best coach in the league after Pop, imo, and he always has his team ready and psyched to play well against the Spurs. No doubt in my mind that the Spurs are the better team, but I know it is also possible that our guys might feel the slightest bit complacent about the Mavs after the win over Cleveland and the upcoming bout with the Warriors.
And the Mavs would LOVE to upset us.
Here's hoping we drown them.
A legitimate trap game, Mavs and Carlisle are always a pain in the ass.
Sometimes I worry that the team figures "somebody is gonna get hot", as Manu suggests, and that is a reason that it takes us so long to get going in so many games this season. Manu is my favorite Spur, but I wish he didn't think that or say it out loud if he did think it.
Early ownership of responsibility for the team having a good night is important.
Still, it is hard to argue with his comment because it is true.
I wonder if that blatant foul against Kawhi was called in that game.
Trap game
Dern won't hold him, Carlisle better get Matthews ready tbh
I just want W anyway, anyhow..Coming off 2 days of rest, and we have another 3 days after this, our guys have ZERO excuses for any sloppiness..let's protect HC and keep the pressure on the Dubs..![]()
stop this trap game bull ... the opponent is an old rival which is 5th in the Western Conference ... Spurs will not take this one for granted
Every game is a trap game and a scheduled loss
DET was legitimate trap game..you just saw what they are capable of last night..that's one gutsy Spurs W..
Stay healthy and get the win.![]()
