"he may win and win big"
He won't be President. America has 10Ms of you stupid people, but not enough to put him in the WH.
The establishment GOP is scared of Trump because they reportedly think he will get destroyed in the general election, but he may win and win big. If he can get a hardcore dem like myself to cross over and vote for him, then the turnout for Trump could be huugggggggggggeeeeee. I really believe that. No, it's true.

People said he wouldn't run, then they said he couldn't win the nomination, then they said he couldn't win the WH. It's all happening. What we are watching is historic. People thought Obama was a generational candidate. No, it's Donald J. Trump.
#TrumpCard
Trump, Repugs lose women (disgusting, dogs, etc), young, blacks, browns, Asians, LGBT,and intelligent independents, just like in 08 and 12.
He's going to bring out voters who never have voted before and he's going to flip many intelligent dems like myself who don't buy what Hillary's selling.

Trump Says He Will Force Apple to Manufacture in the US Even Though That Makes Absolutely No Sense

I wonder if Donny T has any plans to give IRS, FBI enough funds to go after personal and corporate tax evaders?

Apple actually has some USA manufacturing. In fact, I think it has an Austin campus where it builds Mac Pros and has some Apple Support techs. Trump can't bring it all back (that's just hyperbole), but he can probably bring a lot of it back with a combination of good tax incentives and punitive trade/import barriers.
Trump and God are besties cuz Trump says so
TRUMP: No, I have great relationship with God.
I have great relationship with the evangelicals.
In fact nationwide, I'm up by a lot -- leading everybody.
But I like to be good.
I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness.
And I am good.
I don't do a lot of things that are bad.
I try and do nothing that's bad.

your anecdote, all anecdotes, are useless. thanks, anyway.
The Gospel According to Trump
IT is no secret that Donald J. Trump’s ruinous rise in the Republican presidential primaries has been powered, in large part, by a naked agenda of religious division and fear-mongering — an agenda that will likely inform his speech today at Liberty University, a conservative Christian college in Lynchburg, Va.
But while his anti-Muslim provocations have rightly drawn the largest share of public outrage, Mr. Trump has in fact been using his bully pulpit throughout this election season to attack religious minorities of all stripes. He deploys this tactic on the campaign trail whenever it suits his political purposes, and his religious digs and dog whistles are often so cartoonishly retro that they sound as if they’re being delivered by a billionaire Archie Bunker.
In the Gospel According to Trump, there is only one blessedly normal, all-American faith: mainline Protestant Christianity. The Presbyterians, the Methodists, the Baptists — those believers who once made up this country’s midcentury religious mainstream — are Mr. Trump’s “chosen ones.” He regards their customs and values as essentially as American as apple pie, while all other faith communities, even other forms of Christianity, seem to rest somewhere on a spectrum from exotic to sinister.
...
There is an absurdity in seeing Donald Trump trying to play the role of 2016 religion referee. This is a man whose sincerest praise for the Bible is to deem it even better than his best-selling book “The Art of the Deal,” a man whose most famous religious experience is having reportedly struck up a romance with his second wife among the pews of a Manhattan church (while he was still married to Ivana).

Rumor spreading that Trump will get Palin's endorsement. I don't like Palin, but we got to do what we go to do to win.
This is huggeeee news in the race for Iowa. That, I can tell you.
However, VOTES are not useless - especially in FL. Can't believe my middle ds will be 18 (just in time for the election) - so that'll be 4 from my household.
DMX7, if Trump wins Iowa, there's a good chance he'll run the table. That's why he's turned up the heat on Cruz - going for the knockout up front.
"VOTES are not useless"
they're useless. no matter who you vote for, they will legislate to satisfy, or not to upset, their biggest donors
So who are Trump's biggest donors? Who does he have to satisfy or not upset?
Palin does endorse Trump and Iowa's governor wants Cruz defeated. Wonder why Palin endorsed Trump and not Cruz - that's kinda strange.
President only signs/vetoes bills from Congress, and effectively all of Congress is corrupted, owned big donors.
It doesn't matter if Trump thinks he can win without big donors. He's running for President, not all-powerful dictator.
You wouldn't know that with the current President and his executive orders/actions. And we are in the Church of Trump thread and discussing the position he's running for - not Congress.
Executive orders are legal. We'll see if SCOTUS knocks down his delaying of deporting illegal immigrants.
I agree he could run the table if he wins Iowa. But Cruz hit him, and Trump is a big counter puncher so that's the reason he's going after Cruz so hard.
Palin Endorsement Widens Trump’s Lead Among Idiots
DeS MOINES, Iowa — An endorsement from former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is expected to widen Donald J. Trump’s already impressive lead among so-called “idiot voters,” an aide to the billionaire said on Tuesday. While Trump was previously thought to have a lock on the idiot vote heading into the Iowa caucuses, a recent surge by Senator Ted Cruz, of Texas, has put the idiots back in play.
Cruz has worked tirelessly in recent weeks to tailor his message to undecided idiots, even revamping his stump speech to rid it of two-syllable words.
“That’s why Palin supporting Trump and not Cruz is such a win for us,” the Trump aide said. “She’s been out of politics for awhile, but she still has idiot cred.”
The aide said that no one should be surprised by the bond between Palin and Trump. “They’re both reality-show hosts,” he said. “And by lowering the bar in 2008, Palin singlehandedly made Trump’s candidacy possible.”
But even as the Trump campaign staffers celebrate the Palin endorsement, they recognize that they still have their work cut out for them to secure victory in Iowa. “Getting the idiots to support Trump is only half the battle,” the aide said. “Now we have to make sure that they make it to the caucuses without getting lost on the way.”

For the attention, probably.
Aren't the similarities obvious? Trump can't keep his hole shut ... and neither can Palin's daughter.
Palin endorsing Trump is cold considering what Trump said about John McCain.![]()
LOL what does Palin bring to the table? She doesn't have that many supporters. Actually she has none so this gains Trump nothing.
