They still in the EastPERIOD.
2014 Finals redux![]()
What do you base that on? Is there stats that point to them having better numbers?
Having more experience doesn't mean they're that much better.
LMA got outplayed by Love& JR torched Danny......but yet the Spurs STILL outscore them by 16 after the 1st quarter.

Quite pathetic to not have a potent low post game - unless the refs let him play gorilla ball.

MLK rolling over in his grave at LeBron's disgraceful performance. Happy birthday .
Yes & there's no argument against it. They have a higher win % this year than last. They are healthy again. Even with having to get guys re-acclimated they are on pace to win more games than last year & lead an improved East. They have slipped in efficiency (both offensively & defensively) but making progress.
Cavs need to slow the pace like Miami did. It's the only way. Granted Dubs are much more focused here then they were against us.
First game at home after long trip..that's only excuse i have for the Cavs.. but they look overmatched out there...
What does that have to do with how good they are? They gave GS a great series & they are healthier this year. Guys like Kyrie & Love got some playoff wins under their belt. It's no longer their first rodeo.
I might just go cry in the shower like the rape victim in a TV movie.
and missed like 4-5 open threes that would have blown it out to 20 point game..
On top of what I said - I just checked & they are shooting as well as last year pretty much but their defense has improved. Slippage they had at beginning of the year is gone & their defensive efficiency has gone from 106 last year to 101 this year which offsets their dip from 111 to 108 offensively. They are net better & improving over last 15 games with a better win %.
Good Gawd, Cleveland Cavs didn't even bother showing up tonight.
Oh no argument wow.
1. What experience are you talking about? Love got injured in the 1st round. Kyrie got injured in the Finals. 2 our of their 3 best players didn't gain anything.
2. They relied and still do on JR Smith making fluky shots to bail them out when things go rough. They do the same although to a lesser extent with Shumpert, whom they also expect to be some kind of defensive stopper.
3. Varejao is a corpse, didn't play a lot last year as per the years before that, so again what experience?
4. Mozgov, their best big, has regressed this year. Thompson whom they just paid top dollar on is getting exposed as a one trick pony and a bad one at that.
5. They added Mo williams and RJ in their rotation, yeah I don't even think I need to explain that.
Just because they have a better record this year doesnt mean a lot because they should be doing it every year in the east.
Cavs don't fear the Dubs as much as they fear the Spurs thus they didn't come in w/ the right intensity against a desperate Warriors squad.![]()
GTFO with that bull . LeHype will literally moonwalk to the Finals this year.

Kawhi had at least 3 shots rim out![]()
Of course he will. Doesn't mean the East isn't better. I'm not saying it's a world-beater conference, but it's improved. They aren't playing the Lakers 82 games a year.
That's just conjecture - I showed you the numbers that back up my assertion they are better & my soft science points are equally as strong as yours. You've made no real case to support your opinion. That's ok, I just dismiss it though.
As if we didn't know already, there's only 2 contenders in the NBA
laugh all you want, but when was the last time u took a team and thought they'd moonwalk to the finals because they had 1 player... jordan's bulls
They played better after Love went down. Thompson and Mop Head > Love, collectively. Kyrie out there tonight looking to "prove a point" instead of using his speed to break down the defense and set his team up for easy buckets.
Funny part about it is neither still has Finals experience. If they make it and play either the Champs or the Spurs, I don't really see either one bring a difference maker. LeHype should have stayed in South Beach tbh.
