I agree with you ceperez. They made a mockery of themselves and Lebron looked like he checked out mentally in the 2nd Q. I didn't even watch more than a few minutes bc it was a boring game.
Why should it? Both teams had outlying performances. It happens from time to time.

Meh, hard for any one game sample size to strike much fear. It's basketball - happens sometimes. You could just as easily say "If you're still scared of GS after watching the game against the Pistons, you're clueless".
We all (or most of us, at least) know GS, when clicking on all cylinders, is the deadliest team in the league. They have the most prolific shooter in the history of the NBA on their side. That doesn't necessarily mean they're the best team though, and the Spurs are much better suited to slow them down compared to a team like Cleveland.
i agree with everything you said and think our size could pose matchup problems for them but people on this board are really sleeping on this team. When they are firing on all cylinders it's almost unbeatable .
Probably Lebron. He only wanted him for his 3 pt shooting/rebounding... maybe his passing.
He didn't look at whether they really fit. For Love to be a plus, he needs to be scoring. If he's a roleplayer parked at the 3 and who is defending a lot of PnR which is a weakness of his, then he's going to be a minus.
I could have seen Love in Boston. They said they needed a premier scorer and they wanted him badly. They also have assets to trade.
GSW can't be beat if the are making there 3's.
However, if they played like the way they played against the Cavs in the finals and it was against the Spurs, then the Spurs will win.
If it gets nastly like GSW vs Pistons, then the Spurs will win.
agree. The 3 ball gets them going... Not just point wise..... But emotionally. It's like dunking for the clips. We have to be able to play green in that potential series for his defense but if he doesn't learn how to shoot idk how we can win either way.
He is a defender, but that's because nobody makes him defend. A player can't fit if you just let him do what he wants. I thought that's what coaches were for. A lot of people on Doc Rivers as a coach, but he turned Ray Allen into a pretty good defender and they won a le because of it.
What pumps this guy up? He's getting neglected. He's better than this. Sure he's not that great of a defender but he looked lost out there.
As for Boston, if they somehow got the number one pick do you think they'd trade it for love?lol but seriously though
Look what pop has done with LMA... I'd rather have Aldridge than love though
Look at Kyle Anderson in our team. There is absolutely no excuse to not playing defense unless: (1) you are a low BBIQ player who gets lost on defense bc you don't even know what schemes you are running, (2) you don't care about defense and hustle.
Number one pick no, but from 2 down they probably would. Problem is, Cleveland are in a win now mode and are unlikely to be interested in such a deal, they'll want productive vets in a potential Love deal.
Worriers, Do You Have Any More Excuses?![]()
