Team is playing really hard for smart. What I like the most is the team is improving game by game without ridley...
We just beat #6 West Virginia on the road. 56-49
Damn Smart.
Pressed us all game, only 8 turnovers.
These recruits have got to see this stuff.
No Ridley, no problem. We play so much smarter.
Its not the Spurs, but it's so much more watchable without Barnes. I don't even care if we go to the tournament, the Bball is so much better.

Absolutely.
The press OK St. used on us last game worked and we almost blew a big lead. Obviously Smart saw this problem and took care of it.
Only 8 turnovers for a college team, 30 sec shot clock being pressed...that's very good.
We are not very talented. Getting a whole lot out of these kids. Really looking good for the future.
Great picture. Glad they have Vahe in on this recruitment, just missing Connor. Pat Hudson has been smiling more on this Austin trip than I've seen throughout his entire recruitment.
Welcome.
Update on DT Chris Daniels of Euless Trinity (24/7):
“It went really really well,” Daniels said. “My favorite part was that Patrick Vahe was my host. He took me around the campus and really helped me learn a lot about the university. He said that I’m his little bro and that I could help him rep the state of Texas, so I’m definitely looking into it.”
“I really like Coach Strong, and I really respect what he’s doing,” Daniels said. “He’s a person that holds everyone accountable and demands respect. He also told me about how a large makeup of his team and staff is African-American and how he helps everybody graduate."
“Coach Strong and Coach Haley also said that they don’t have a lot of defensive tackles and that I would 100 percent have the opportunity to come in and play right away as a true freshman.”
“I’m really considering them now,” Daniels said. “They explained the situation and how a former staff member didn’t do a good job recruiting me. It doesn’t matter to me that they were late anymore. I know they want me now.”
Per 24/7, RB Darius Anderson will not take an official visit to UT this weekend.
Rivals reporting CB Parrish Cobb of Waco La Vega will be officially visiting UT this weekend.

The Football Brainiacs recently posted film of RB Joshua Jacobs out of Tulsa, OK.
They're saying the staff is aware of him and he could be a late offer if UT doesn't get their guy.

By the way, this site and Andrew King have posted some great notes recently if you want to add to your daily reading.

Same site reporting Strong will have an in-home visit with LB Jeffrey McCulloch tonight.
FYI Burton of 24/7 crystal balled another player to Texas; DE Mark Jackson.
corner back class of obi/cuffee/cobb would be ill........
This has to be the most pictures ever posted of a recruit on a visit. He's sure used to the Hook 'Em by now. Can't wait for NSD.
Is this real life? Truly impressive that we're even in it considering how far back we were.
Put in another crystal ball for CB Parrish Cobb.
Has a few family members who attended UT.
