    Tbh Spurs will lose.

Warriors will set a league record in uncalled moving screens, push offs and travels

But seriously I don't want to get myself too hyped.

Steve Kerr returning tonight, basically in time for the Spurs game but not on that game exactly. If they need some emotional bump to feel secure good for them, they are a young team that needs stuff like that. The Spurs don't.

Win or lose, I am most interested to see if we stay big against them, and, if so, how well it works.

I hope the Spurs and Warriors blowout their final opponents tonight (Lakers/Pacers) before their Monday meeting.
The 40-4 Warriors versus the 38-6 Spurs!!! That's insane! Has there ever been a matchup (record-wise) like this at this point of the season?
Lakers-Blazers in 2000 when they were both 45-11 is the closest I can think of. LA finished strong and Portland went into a real funk after the Lakers won that game on the road. It was funny because Phil Jackson hyped the game like .

I think it's more likely this first meeting is going to be a blowout one way or the other. I'd give the edge to the dubs on this since it seems like they are the ones viewing this as a statement game. Spurs will be viewing it as another game in January. Whatever the outcome is, the one thing that is for sure is that the result of this one meeting will be way over-hyped.

The Warriors historic start might play into Leonards favor in the mvp race. If the spurs end up with the best record, kawhi will be the guy to lead the team that surpassed a historic team/reigning champs.
That's perhaps the only way he wins. Statistically the Spurs aren't really any worse without Kawhi on the floor, and that will hurt his candidacy in the long run. The team's too deep even without him.

Thanks! Surprised I don't remember that game. Did you notice one of the officials for the game - Tim Donaghy. That game would be fun to rewatch/analyze.

We were peaking and really slapped the Warriors around late last season. It will be interesting to see if we still match up that well. Unfortunately, we peaked at the wrong time so I am not all that worried about Monday's game. It would be really nice to take 3 of 4 against them though.
