Looks like this could be a great series.
That sypnosis plays more like comedy than anything.

This was actually a plot line in a graphic novel, Sandman, and one of my favorites. Lucifer hands the key to to Dream, after kicking everybody out of .
The plot line ended with Lucifer on a beach admiring the sunset in Australia, presumably retired.

Gaiman's Sandman was bloody brilliant. Artwork was not my favorite in some of the earliest, but the writing was always spot on.
Seems like the most gy plot in history.
Lucifer is a really good comic too, FYI. Mike Carey did it I believe, and this show is loosely based on it.
