Congrats. It's a weak time in the league but it's still very impressive. And he has room to improve. I have doubted you, and called you a head, but very brave to predict a young player would improve in the league's best coaching staff.
Damn, it just feels so electric. I still remeber saying he was going to be a superstar in 2012. Seeing a player progress they way he has, has been far more enjoyable than players that usually have it handed to them.

I'll admit I thought lma was better than kawhi. Kawhi was inconsistent last year. Lma was a consistent scorer. This year the team is super deep, it's hard to tell if lma is deferring bc of coaching or because he sucks. But lma still could be better than kawhi if he puts it all together. Likewise kawhi is only top five if he doesn't disappear in random stretches or sustains major injury. But right now kawhi is the second best league player. Lma is top 20-50.
Do y'all disagree that if lma brings his current defensive focus and adds his former offensive skills in an efficient way, and develops decent leadership..... he'd be better than Leonard?

I'm just glad they're both playing better defense than they've had in years right now. Maybe ever. And Tony looks more spry- hope that doesn't deteriorate...
Hopefully both Tony and Lamarc can continue to grow, synergistically (I'm not sure if that's a real word, but you get it) on the defensive end and this team reaches it's full potential (sans injuries, Deity(ies) willing) as they roll into the Playoffs.
The main problems right now, to me, is Aldridge's testosterone levels, Duncan's health along with the continued energy level and precision from his two other elder counterparts, defensive synergy and Danny get back into a good groove for a solid amount of games.
The Warriors, barring any future injuries, require the absolute best from a team to beat them on most nights and they will, most assuredly, be doubly focused in the playoffs so...
The Spurs have more growth to go before they can feel super-confident of winning it all this year.
