There was certainly a ton of experimentation, but we can't say this every time the Spurs lose to a top team..
If this were the playoffs do you really think Pop would've stuck with an ineffective zone defense for as long as he did? I'm not saying the Spurs would've won this game, but you're an idiot if you think this wasn't an intentional tank job after the first quarter.

No . That Is Nonsense. We got killed. And his stupid smirk is infuriating. That Jason garret crap is unacceptable.
Tbh. Fans are getting delusional.
If it had been one season I'd agree... It's been multiple years of this tho.
With Duncan out, Pop is definitely playing around with line ups. But that's not the reason their getting trounced by the better teams in the league.
Pop was terrible but the team clearly played hard.
LOL letting Patty Mills guard Lebron for 2/3rds of the game.
Pop playing chess, I like. Basically conceded the one seed
He must've trolled against Doc Rivers too...
Zone Defense eliminated the best of Kawhi/Danny one-on-one defense. Hopefully, Pop won't play it very often in the next games without Tim...
Rob on another level tonight tbh
Agree with you. Enough with the "Do you think Pop would do this or that in the playoffs?"
No. It is not the playoffs but if you are loosing and no body or nothing you are trying works, you do experiment.
The best outcome of this experiment is that Simmons/Anderson need development minutes and they are pushing some guys out.
They were the ones producing a come back and whatever they were doing worked for a while.
He discovered also Boban is not ready for playoff basketball, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get to continue to develop.
But this was not a tank job. The game was already out of hand more or less, when Pop started trying different guys and different things.
