Kobrick/ LeChoke ate their own shyt in the Finals![]()
Im not a drug dealer.
Kobe: 2
Daddy: 1
Talk to Lamar.
Without either..
Duncan 5
For the same reason some of you guys find anything Duncan related important? Even the non-stories..
The watershed moment twixt us was when Amy outed Tim during the Finals. Then we had a foothold, an equalization had occurred. Before that we didn't have on Duncan, had a little on Neal that we we hanging onto like a rabid dog, but, the divorce made us. Came out of left field, almost like a gd mirage it was. I could not believe it. I asked Girl to pinch me,,,"Hard."
"No, not tonight, Dale, I'm tired."
We're on speaking terms now?
I'm off the list. Solly cholly
Yes, I emptied the Cornfield, save Mori.
Now throw Kareem under the bus and call him an idiot.
I agree ...but we already had this conversation.
I never had that conversation with Kareem though.
Duncan is the most Kareem like big tbh. Cerebral introverts. Kareem was more dominant though but Duncan did more with less. no shock he would favor a middle class man's version of himself Jordan does the same thing with Kobe ...
lol.
im loling at the part where you said Duncan a middle class version of Kareem. Duncan has five rings as the face of the franchise Kareem was not the face of showtime, it was magic so OFF NOW. I can actually argue for Duncan's case over Kareem on the all time list.
What the does being the face have to do with being more dominant?
Kareem has more rings, mvps he won on every level and was a dominant center in one of the best eras for bigs. just stop it. Plus he won RINGS WITH 3 DIFFERENT COACHES ...
That's terribly ironic coming from a guy who had one shot in his arsenal... Kareem is the ultimate one-trick pony.
Kareem was a one trick pony on offense (w/ the most unstoppable shot in the game) but there are more things to the game than scoring....![]()
Yeah, but still. Dirk is multi-dimensional on offense. He has deep range, also an unstoppable shot (the one-legged fadeaway), and even developed a post game in his prime. Kareem didn't need more than one shot in the 70s and 80s, so we'll never know how he would've adapted in the modern game.
It has nothing to do w/ the time period, Al Jefferson's jump hook is automatic when he has deep position. Dirk meanwhile couldn't do shyt against Stephen Jackson.![]()
The PF/C positions changed a lot in the last 20 years. Dirk encapsulates the "new age big man" for all its strengths and drawbacks. But he carried a team to a le in 2011, and I gained a lot of respect for him that year. He became a well-rounded player in his prime, doing whatever was needed to win.
How does that help his case? It's arbitrary because players don't control how many coaches they have...unless they get their coach fired like Lebron.
To say he's a one trick pony and not a dominant player when he could take slower guys off the dribble at will and post up smaller wings that were on him is ridiculous.
Duncan has more rings than half that list or is tied with a few.
Luva is right though, Sean,,,Duncan has proven incapable of defending his .
