I don't mind. The reason why, LMA is actually CONTESTING shots. Doing so means you are going to get less rebounds. I don't want him to be Love 2.0 in that department, leave his man and go for rebounds. There is a reason he has 8 blocks in 2 games. Spurs needs Leonard, KA, Diaw, and West to box out.

And one thing I did notice when the Magic kept getting all those Offensive board, Mills and Green got smart and started to crash the boards as well. Magic only got 2 rebounds once they started to. I think rebounding is a team effort. The fact the Spurs are contesting shots, this is going to leave them open for Off RB. It takes a team effort in that the Spurs guards need to go for rebounds as well.

I don't mind Green out rebounding LMA if the reason is because LMA is contesting shots and making guys miss.
Good point against perimeter teams and bigs that play away from the basket, you are not close to the rim to grab the board if you are contesting a perimeter or even midrange shot.

Doesnt that mean that Parker is focused on winning more than his stats ? Didn`t watch the game, but he could easy get 10 shots over Norris Cole and whoever is the starter there at PG.
I hope that's what it means so he stops playing hero ball and feeds the talent.

My concern is his lack of impact despite having put up a decent number of points. Just look at the game against the Pelicans, he scored 36 points but Spurs couldn't put away the Pelicans until late in the 4th.

This is despite the Spurs shooting 60% from the 3 point line. Just doesn't make sense to me.
    How is this Aldridge's fault?

You're connecting A-W and thinking it makes sense,

Huge chance for him to step up now with Kahwi, and carry some serious load. It's what he is being paid for.. Time to do it.. No excuse for not him not averaging 20 plus in this next month..

In fairness Draymond is allowed to get away with much more contact than any other big. A little bit ridiculous
I agree but if the refs consistently let him get away with that then that's something he'll have to overcome.

I am not sure specifically on the rebounding, I didn't watch the entire game, just parts of the 1st Q and the last 3 minutes of the 4th... but I would be ok with the rebounding numbers if it meant he was really boxing out the big allowing others to grab a board. The boxing out part is very underrated, and it doesn't show in any stat... that is kind of what they say, rebounding is a team effort.

Edit: also yea, we can't compare him to Tim. There is no other like him. Everyone will come up short. Just have to appreciate him as himself.
We could be a worse team without him. Lets reconsider Tiago injured and Timmy's knee situation. Puts things in perspective. Baynes starting?
I am glad we got him.
    Yes......and AMEN!!

It's seriously a handful of guys who all spend their extra time trying to figure out ways to flirt with other board members while acting like they don't feed off each other.

Back to your point, Aldridge has always played his best against the best compe ion. Where did your conclusion come from? This season alone? This season, he's in a new system and has been allowing other lesser players to establish themselves while he learns. I think Pop for through to him with the GS game about how they need him to establish himself. Tonight he went against two of the best defensive bigs in the NBA. Davis, has always been someone he struggled against actually, but who doesn't? Whether you think he's good or not, no one can deny he's getting better and more comfortable as the season goes on.

The one thing I've seen he does struggle with it trying to go through smaller stouter players instead of over them. The shorter player is going to be able to establish position much easier , and if they're stout, they should have the advantage movement wise, but not contesting a shot.
This is completely false, sorry man.

Aldridge is known for being a choker in big games. That's his reputation with everybody

Lmao if you want to find a choker in big games, look no further but to look at your profile picture. Did Raymond even make a three in the finals? And if he did, on how many attempts?

Aside from last year when he was playing with a broken hand, Lamarcus has put up good-to-great numbers in the postseason. Now let's take a look at your PF...

    Raymond's 2013 Per 36 playoff run:
    11.3ppg, 8.2rpg, 3.1apg, 1.9TO, 42.9FG%, 39.1 3P%
    Raymond's 2014 playoff run:
    11.9ppg, 8.3rpg, 2.9apg, 2.4TO, 46.7FG%, 27.6 3P%
    Raymond's 2015 playoff run:
    13.7ppg, 10.1rpg, 5.2apg, 2.8TO, 41.7FG%, 26.4 3P%
