OK, I can breath again now...

I would have HATED to stop our home streak because of the fakers..
Exactly. And it's our last home game before the RRT/last home game in February. Never want to lose your last home game before a looooooong road trip.

Byron Scott won us this game subbing out DBust. He was murdering out guards in the 4th and took him out.
Good move by Byron, tbh. Otherwise they might have won. They are tanking in order to retain their 1st round pick.

Agree. He was better than Lou Williams... and got hot in the 4th Q... tankorama.

Still I will take it. Nailbiter and fun game, but not one we should have lost.

    Meh the standings say W.

    Spurs win!
At least we didn't lose our last home game before the long ass road trip, which also happens to be our last home game until March. That would have been crushing.

The Lakers thank you for the L.
    Get the outta here Miguel.

That's the problem with you. If the Lakers win...you automatically start slinging at the Spurs for losing. If the Lakers lose....you automatically start screaming "Tank, Tank, Tank". It's not even fun any more with you guys.

    Get the outta our thread.

    Spurs win!

Jesus, if the Lakers ended their home streak.

    Thank God.

At first I didn't give a , then I started to realize how much ammo Lakere s would have if Spurs lost.

Agreed. just mentioned that a post above. I like D'bust and Clarkson with a decent coach, they have something there... Don't like Randle though.

Glad Manu's out tbh. He would have fouled Kirby way beyond the 3pt line for a 4pt play.

That's giving Kobe too much credit. Stockholm syndrome was the feeling after 2002 or so, but we've bettered him since.

Ohhh I had forgotten about that.

There is a lot of film to watch on this one. There were some terrible, terrible stretches of bad D and uninspired play for sure.

Spurs were beating the our of teams and still got their pushed in San Fran. Ultimately these games against scrub teams don't matter to me. They could had won by 1 or 50, doesn't matter.

Meh 3rd game in 4 nights for the Spurs and it showed. Looked lethargic most of the game and we shot the 3 horribly, despite a lot of good looks. Still a good W.

What DOES matter is if we had actually, God forbid, lost this game. Would have been demoralizing losing your last home game for a month.
