They have enough talent to overcome bad shot selection.
Really was a win win situation so I am really not disappointed
They have enough talent to overcome bad shot selection.
talk about not knowing how to close out a game. I don't care what the announcer said, those were terrible shots by Durant at the end.
If you're a male you don't have to worry about Zika really at all tbh... it's basically just a minor cold.
HORRIBLE SHOTS!!! The funny thing about this game(that I watched instead of the remainder of the spurs game) is that all of those bull ass fouls okc get against us, the refs weren't calling any of that for them in the entire 1st half. They let GS get a 20 point lead, THEN they started to call fouls in the 2nd half hahaha. the officials controlling games for a close ending
Ibaka will be neutralized by LMA/D-West b/c they can hit mid-range shots unlike ter, Porker has also been phased out of the offense![]()
There's a misconception that teams who don't go belly up late in the RS will burn themselves out. Why wouldn't they do that before 10 games left? The championship is great, best thing of all of course, but there are milestones along the way they you can reach out for as a franchise and grab them if it's not too much of a stretch.
The real question is whether Steve Kerr wants to beat his own team's consecutive winning streak (he was on that Bulls team). He's in a tough spot; if he rests guys it will be said he's protecting Michael's legacy. If he doesn't rest guys it will be said he's too focused on that RS record. Steve probably doesn't give a and knows right now what he's going to do if it comes down to it. We have 3 guys out and it's not even the AS break, so there's no "burned out" injuries anyone here can point to other than cause vs correlation fallacies.
You root like the Clips can get the 3rd seed...
exactly. I say even throw our remaining games agianst the clippers to help them out. I'm all for that. that undefeated home record bull . I'd reast the entire startting 5 against every remaining game against the clippers this season
Scared of an OKC squad that has been hemorrhaging points on defense against mediocre opponents & has no wing players that are even on Matt Barnes level.
The fear of OKC is just a notch below folks fearing the Mavs b/c of 2014. Durant isn't going to be going wild against Kawhi & they have nobody that can guard Kawhi. If they try to play Durant at the 4 just like they did against the Worriers then Diaw is going to eat Durant's lunch in the post. #checkmate
Spurs also matchup better this season against the Clippers b/c Blake can't guard LMA in the post but the Clippers matchup better w/ the Worriers than OKC especially since Lance/Crawford are playing much better than they did to start the season. You want the Clippers to stay 4th so the Worriers don't have a cake walk to the WCF.

no, i don't fear OKC. this isn't about fearing okc, this is about the warriors haven't to play okc in the 2nd round and whomever is left from a drawn out 7 game series, we play them in the WCF. U use to your advantage. Do you really want Curry to go another 1st and 2nd round series without playing any defense only to face us in the WCF and not have to play any on Danny Green? This is what we're talking about. We're not afraid of OKC, we just don't want the wariors to have another cake walk to the WCF. And if you think the clippers are a harder matchup for the warriors than OKC, you're insane
Steph doesnt have to guard anybody against OKC since Klay guards Westbrook
You think the Dubs are afraid of Dion Waiters going at Steph? lmao
I dont fear anybody since we are by far the best team in the NBA but I hope the Thunder get the 3 seed and hopefully you guys take care of them in the 2nd round
No offense but id rather play the Spurs instead of OKC since they dont have anybody like Durant and rely on too many old guys
Does a Warriors championship count as 6th championship for the Lakers and Kobe?
Benoit has been going around trolling the out of you assholes...
He had to change his ing picture when he tried to talk about class and he had a picture of family killer.
It'll be like the 2007 "19-1" Patriots. They'll set all kinds of regular season records and tear through the playoffs only to lose in the conference finals (which is actually the real finals).
just watched the game ... I give props to OKC for making it a close game at the end ... when was the last time the Spurs were down by 20 against a good opponent and had a comeback win?
Then cancer or AIDS, tbh.
Durant cost his team the game taking those 2 stupid 3's. You have to attack the Warriors in a close game, they have the shooters, defense to pull it out.
IKR, dude is acting like Dion Butters is better than Austin Rivers. The Clippers can roll out the CP3/Re /Crawford lineup & force Curry to play defense while Cp3 checks him on the other end. Lance Stephenson has also been playing well recently & his minutes should go up now that Austin Rivers is out w/ a broken hand. DeAndre/Blake also punked Draymond/Barnes/Lee in the paint when they went small in the 2014 series b/c Bogut/Ezeli were out with injuries.
Durant went all Kirby & started jacking up 3s b/c he want to be the hero.
In any case, if they can't beat the Worriers who shot 26% from 3 including Curry/Klay/Draymond/Iggy combining for TWO 3s along w/ Kanter playing major minutes then they are hopeless unless they acquire a legit wing player.
Besides, lol @ cats claiming this game proved Kanter can play major minutes vs GS b/c it had to do with the fact that Curry was struggling until the final 2 minutes rather than operating in video game mode.
-Z-Bo was able to stay on the floor early during last season playoff series when Curry was struggling with his shot
-Greg Monroe was able to play major minutes TWICE this season b/c Curry couldn't buy a 3
-Brook Lopez stayed on the floor when Curry was getting his Kobrick on from outside
-Pau didn't get exposed at the Oracle b/c of Curry's struggles
-Kevin Love looked playable at the Oracle when Curry looked pretty ordinary
-Mavs hung around w/ a bunch of 3rd string bigs b/c Curry wasn't exactly lighting it up
Essentially teams are at the mercy of Curry not playing in video game mode if they roll out a slow footed big.
In the 2nd half, the Worriers abandoned the Curry/Draymond PnR for stretches just like early in the Finals series & KD turned into a one man offense like Bron with Kanter playing the Mozgov role.
