Meh. It was erased. The entire historical season is largely irrelevant now... It won't be remembered. The only thing that will be remembered was Newton's MVP season. We will see how he bounces back.

Not saying the Denver defense wasn't tough; but Newton sucked. He was over throwing guys. He had no rhythm. His side arm slings looked ridiculously amateurish.
has stopped being a "franchise qb" two years ago, with Rivera about to be fire, he decided to make a pure game manager and rely strictly on D and running game. It worked for them as they kept themselves healthy in stunning fashion. In the end they found someone to stop their running game and that was that.

McNabb? Newton has more success in 5 years than McNabb had in his career. Now he just needs longevity.
