The Houston Rockets have started contacting teams about trading eight-time All-Star Dwight Howard, league sources told The Vertical.Howard, 30, plans to exercise an opt-out in his contract this summer to become an unrestricted free agent, and uncertainty surrounding the commitment both sides are willing to make has pushed Houston general manager Daryl Morey toward seeking potential trades on the market, league sources said.
The NBA’s trade deadline is Feb. 18.
The Rockets are working with Howard’s agent, Dan Fegan, on possible destinations, league executives told The Vertical.

Impossible, but would be interesting if he became a Spur.

Maybe Pop/Timmy could slap him back to '09.

I'd rather have LMA. No desire to see Dwight on the Spurs.

Oh, a new start. A fresh start. All of it laying before him and that base. An entire Spring, Summer and most of Fall to dilly & dally with that 20 year guarantee of promise.

I hope he comes up the street. They'll piss their panties with it:::

"I don't see anything in his past that is so bad. I really, don't. Do you, Vinny?

"Yes, I do, Dan. But, when I think really hard about it I really don't."

    "Me neither!"

Him seeking a max will limit his market..With his injury record and petulant act, he will would be a disastrous albatross two years into it..I think he still has something left but it is massive risk..

Because LMA will hold a hand. You couldn't make Dwight hold a hand with a loaded & ed gun.

Can you imagine him coming here, ill? It'd be a hoot. He'd own, lose, and burn the town to the ground by this time next year. He'd have us fighting like cats & dogs. I might go out my mind. I wouldn't know whether to , or, go blind. I'd quit my j*b if I had one and devote all my time to posting here.

We'd meet for lunch, I'd try to two piece ya, you'd two piece me, I'd put you back out in the Cornfield.

    It'd be quite a time.

Looks like this proves Kobe was vindicated
He was vindicated on-the-spot, but, Media couldn't resist dragging it for 3 years. Time of their lives doing so.

Just thank Christ Kobe didn't prostrate himself at the time. They had to beg him to come there, when he was luncheoning with Nessa and the girls at Disneyland. He came dressed like Duncan at the Federal Court House, drew up a steel chair and gave it to Howard man to fool. Howard listened intently, sweating profusely in an A/C blasted room, got up..."I have to use the bathroom." --- snuck out the service elevator and went to a pinball arcade. I saw him. I was in there. "You're not playing those games anymore, Dale! I've had it!" - Girl
