Honestly the only way I found going bigger working is if your bigs are dominant, if not you are only giving away speed and space to flashy teams.
Being said that
This is the heaviest Spurs team in franchise history. Average weight is 223. Last year we were 215 and we are 10 lbs heavier on average than our last championship year. (In 2014 the average was 213 lbs. )

More seriously, this is a sign that the Spurs are going bigger in a league trending towards small ball.

Funny video. Looks mid 80s by sight and sound.
Hopefully we're seeing LMA becoming dominant and he can maintain this through the postseason.
LMA has been fat as well
The average should go down considerably, now that Manu has lost one of his testicles...
LMA needs the bulk he has bc Pop has wanted him to play more inside and battle with other bigs.
Really suprised at this coming Aldridge's way when ppl have been saying he needs to play more like a center.
I'm betting this is based on the official weight of each player, so the average is really around 250.
Just fantastic...
9.6/10
They could play an "all back down" line up just for fun.
