Watch: Davis Bertans shows off ridiculous range, puts on 3-point barrage
    http://network.yardbarker.com/nba/ar...favorites_head

Not sure if 3-5 is a barrage, but the guy doesn't hesitate to pull the trigger from waaaaay out there. Time to see if he can play by bringing him over next summer.

I just want to see him get through a season without a major injury. He lost 2 seasons to ACL tears which halted his improvement but he is still young and a good talent.

I'd like to see him come over on a deal similar to Blair's first contract.

If the guy is healthy he's a running and defending version of Bonner...with chance to play small forward too. Not bad at all.

Spurs could totally use a sharp-shooting combo-forward. Issue is he's a horrible defender at the three, and you don't really want him to add weight since he already has bad knees. So he'll be like Marco.

Probably of concern, can he rebound, how strong is he boxing out, etc? He has a bit of potential to be Daye like but with a shot.

    This.

Wonder how his movement is post injuries.

Position is irrelevant if you've been watching the NBA for the past few years. If his knee can hold up, I like the versatility his size and shooting can add to this roster going forward.

Even Austin Daye could get hot from three... What I want to know is how he's doing this season

Shooters are everywhere. Healthy ones at that. Don't really want a European hospital taking up a roster spot

6-9 shooters really aren't that common. Before the injuries, Bertans had really good hops. It remains to be seen how he's doing now, as he is just coming back. But he looks pretty good all things considering. If he fully recovers, he'll be sort of like Hezonja is for the Magic.

We'll see. I still have more hope in Lalanne panning out than Bertans.

I'd like to see the Spurs keep signing Euro MVP's

That is really the question for me. He can shoot, but how is he in the other aspects of the game. I don't have an answer to that. We'll just have to wait and see. Porzingod is really skinny but he has other tools he uses on defense, his size, his length, timing, anticipation and how agile he is. He also is not intimidated by anybody. Has terrific intangibles. I don't know about Bertans, but if he has a hood healthy season, I look forward to seeing him. Just not going to get hyped until we do see him bc Austin Daye is there to remind me not every tall/long shooter is going yo be the shizzz, so well see.

This guy has a much faster release than Daye. That's huge. I'm curious to see whether the injury messed with his athletic and slashing abilities.
