THE DUNK CONTEST IS BACK
Lol Gordan's vert in only 39". Give 2001 Vince Carter a weekend to practice and get up to speed on modern dunking standards, and it's "over" all over again.
But yes, dunking creativity has evolved quite a bit.
That said, great contest. One of the best in a while.
Holy it's only 39?! Seemed like he got a lot higher. Dude's head was grazing the rim every dunk.
I still think he should've won, tbh.. That under the legs over the mascot dunk was amazing.
damn gordon just got robbed

The Magic always get robbed in dunk contests. Its just sad.
He's 6'9". So a 39" vert puts his head at exactly rim level.
Got robbed big time..had the two best dunks of the night by margin..
Gordons first two dunks of the final round were much better than Lavines, this shouldn't even have gone to the extra rounds tbh
"It's over"...but, not, according to these ty judges..
Nasty...
He could legally do that in a game. That I would like to see. Of course not the mascot.
Lavine had more friends on the bench who acted like idiots when he dunked.
I agree those entourage cheerleaders jacked up Lavine's score.
Shaq should not have been a dunk contest judge. In fact, no one should who wasn't a prolific dunker (creative one, not just a power dunker).
Great dunks. Gordon was ganked
today's dunkers
doing props because they are ty dunkers lacking creativity
ing over Gordon's dunk
Some people give way too much credit to past dunkers. They got the benefit of bringing choreographed dunking to the masses who weren't used to seeing such display of athleticism, doesn't necessarily mean they were better.
For example, as much as i love Kobe's in-game dunks when he was young and in his prime, he won the dunk contest with a between the legs windmill. No way he wins the dunk contest with that dunk against Gordon and Lavine.
Nowadays expectations are way too high. There's only so much the human body can do i guess.
Pink this er.
