lol, most boring sport in the US (hockie doesn't count it's a canadian sport)... late june thru mid september is a gloomy, dull time of the year tbh

Hockey is pretty entertaining, tbh. Physical and fast pace game, not ego driven like other sports too.
The NBA is exponentially more wealthy now than 10 years ago. They have so much money they don't know what to do with it. I'd say Silver is doing just fine.
There's no substance outside of State and your people. And State is precariously situated. And everyone knows/fears it. If they go down the rat hole, then what? You gonna hold up the whole in' thing by yourself?
Binary sports with goalies are boring. Would be a more entertaining sport if defenders were NOT allowed inside the goaltending box, kind of like in the NBA.

Hockey is an exception, you have physical play and active defense. The fast pace makes it a lot easier to watch than beisbol or ball.
Hockey is the sole team sport that allows players to still be physical. Modern fans are really missing out on the ferocious play of the past.

May not be a bad idea to make kids play their full 4 years in college. The lack of talent is evident in the drafts because teams are too busy teaching players how to play instead of them being ready made. All the poor teams are getting kids who still need to learn instead of a star from day 1.
But, you can't go back now, ill. Who gave them the right to require any collegiate stay to start with? One can walk out of HS and into Microsoft.
Media will hide it and prop what's left up. We don't require much. We'll buy anything.

Meh, every ing league is terrible this year (yet to see MLB tho). Boring, mediocre products all around
I know it'll never happen Cub, just saying it might not be a bad idea considering how watered down the league is talent wise.
