Dion didn't wasn't able to drive to the hole against Parker so yeah I would say Parker's defense was decent. Dion hit two contested jump shots against Parker. Dion is a streaky player just like JR Smith. He has the tendency to hit bs shots every now and then. Unfortunately it happened against the Spurs.

Only in your delusional mind. Dion is not a scrub I have had him on my fantasy basketball team a few times during the last few years. He's a talented young player who doesn't have his head on straight hence the JR Smith comparisions.

Unbelievable.. it's like he was playing alone.

High screen with Adams and go hard to the basket every time from the 4th quarter.
I also think the constant attention teams give to his drives to the basket makes it easier for the Thunder to grab more offensive rebounds

I like the Magic and I hated that they let him take a comfortable shot at the end of regulation after that great shot by Oladipo.

OKC's just ing ridiculous. And I mean that in a "they scored 139 points tonight and STILL got more than 50% of those points from just Westbrook and KD" way. It's almost like this is their default mode, and then they play the Spurs, and suddenly they're the one of the most potent, well-rounded offensive teams in the league. 18 points down against Orlando? No biggie, just let KD and Westbrook do everything, including tie the game from almost half court.

It always seems to happen against the Spurs, it's not a coincidence anymore when a scrub has a great game against them Slicer. Fortunately they have 5 les and win a lot more than they lose or else it would drive a fan mad. The most flukish b.s. happens against the Spurs it seems.

There a problem and a very tough match up for the Spurs. Those two on talent alone can carry a team to 50 plus wins.

I don't get it why they changed the coach. They are playing same style of basketball as before. They ain't winning this way.

They are. It's no disrespect to those two players, they're immensely talented. Westbrook is obnoxious as all but he's a compe or. I just can't ever see that team getting over the hill in the playoffs. They've got good players, but at the end of the day most of the damage done by that team is done by Westbrook and KD. It's frustrating when the Spurs run into that buzzsaw, no doubt. I'm just baffled at a 139 point performance (an impressive comeback, don't get me wrong) where 80+ points are two players. It's ridiculous.

After two games, I mostly agree. New guy hasn't implemented many changes - OKC still responds to adversity by having Westbrook and KD put up anywhere from 40-60 shots combined. It makes for casually entertaining ball and some thrilling games, but I agree - they're not going anywhere unless their system changes.

Spurs got em last time in the playoffs so you never know. They would give the Spurs a of a series again though no doubt. I agree I don't see them getting over the hump in the playoffs either and making the finals, but they will be a huge scare in a series on the way there for any team off those two alone being a dual threat.

He probably figures those two can carry him man, easy job for him right now just using the same system and getting paid with all world talents like Durant and Westbrook. I don't think the coaching change was needed either.

I've always felt that the Spurs suffer from a psychological effect against OKC. Chesapeake is loud, the Thunder are athletic and tenacious, while the Spurs are precise and systematic. Nothing freaks a team out more than trying to run a well-oiled machine in a hurricane. I think 2014 did a lot to show that the Spurs can impose their will against OKC and grind out those mentally exhausting wins.

OKC are a very good team. Just based on what I saw in the season opener, I think Spurs have enough size and offensive options to handle OKC.

The top 4 teams in the West are Spurs, Thunder, Warriors and Clippers. All these 4 teams surprisingly are better than they have ever been and it will come down to which team is the most efficient and which team can shut down the other team.

Sure, Westbrook helped OKC beat a pretty mediocre Orlando in double overtime, but Curry's Warriors destroyed the Rockets by 20 in regulation... I'll still take Curry over Russell any day.

Spurs were just on a mission that year and not going to be stopped, they were so focused they went in there in A TOUGH game 6 without Tony in the 2nd half and still pulled it off. They just were not going to be beat that year. OKC is what you said though and a big problem for the Spurs when you think of it, Russell and Durant routinely can go off on you and if they are hot that night you are probably going to lose the game.

Curry is a nightmare to guard. Spurs do good against GSW though usually but I agree I would probably take Curry first.
