I think I understand that mess of a post.
It's like saying you have faith that Santa Claus doesn't exist. Sure you have evidence, but evidence doesn't mean accuracy.

Science has been wrong before. Science also doesn't explain everything. Therefore, saying you don't believe in god(s) means that you have faith that science is indeed correct.

A believer recognizes their faith. Atheists tend to refuse to acknowledge their own. So those closer to rationality tend to be the believers who recognize their own faith.

You also know that the method can produce incorrect answers. So how do you KNOW that it hasn't produced an incorrect answer? Leaving zero margin for error using a system that has proven capable of being incorrect means that you have faith in the system producing a correct result.
