Anderson can play the spot up shooter role better than Love otherwise he's a terrible defender, mediocre rebounder for a PF & has never been accused of being a playmaker.![]()
Pretty sure I made a post stating that Ryan Anderson would be a better fit than Kevin Love for the Cavs. Maybe Lebron reads Spurstalk...![]()

That's not a bad deal. Anderson could actually help the Magic this year. Lance would be waived, per reports. I actually don't think Varejao would be a horrible pickup for LAC, either, but they'd need to add some value.
The Cavs don't need Anderson to do all that other . That's why Love is sucking over there relative to the expectations.
There is going to be more going to the Cavs than just Ryan Anderson. Probably Avery Bradley to the Cavs while the Boston also sends a 1st rd pick to the Pelicans along w/ David Lee. Pelicans might dump Asik on the Celtics too: http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=jl3hrq4
Love is sucking w/ the Cavs for the same reason Pau sucked under D'Antoni but he will be back to being a 20/10 all-star w/ the Celtics.
Love is sucking with the Cavs because he's not as good as Bosh (was). He can't be a legit center, so he's just a stop-up guy, and he's not even that good as spotting up. You're right that he'd be really good on the Celtics though.
Probably fits their system better. Although I don't follow the Cavs they make a lot of noise. There were issues of fit between him and Irving. I would not be surprised if it was even love seeking a move. Definitely Ryan can shoot and will get all the open shots he could wish for. No word yet on who NO is getting?
D'Antoni tried to use Pau as a spot up shooter![]()
All I can think about with the Bryce interest is that we get as many different players (wings) to throw at the warriors. We got solid depth in the frontcourt, but an extra player on the wing couldn't hurt. They had him guarding kawhi and ask I remember was that he was a gritty defender. Whether he's a solid or not, I'm not sure.
Expecting Bryce to be a factor in the playoffs, against the Worriers no less![]()
Tony Wrotten still a free agent? I'd replace McCallum for him
The guy has been trash after he lost his explosiveness following the ACL injury, basically poorman's post-injury D-Rose.![]()
Ray got busted up by D'Bust twice tho...![]()
Thinking I expect him to be a factor
Just said having another body at wing couldn't hurt. And 2 years ago a man by the name of Cory Joseph dunked on a man named Serge ibaka in a blowout and some think that was a turning moment in the series. Not saying Bryce could do that but like I said another body to give a man different looks couldn't hurt.

Does anyone think any team gets better from this? Except maybe shedding salary for the Jazz getting Ty Lawson ND they didn't plan to extend Trey Burke? Both guys are really meh.
It'll be harder for him to drink there
Might turn out good for Utah
I really like that deal for Anderson for Love etc. I wonder if they get Boston's lottery pick too. That would be robbery. Anderson can do what love can do offensively and they have Thompson for the boards. Only thing about Anderson is that salary for next year.
The Orlando Magic have notified Shabazz Napier and Andrew Nicholson they will likely be traded, sources tell Basketball Insiders.

Bulls want a rotation player and a 1st for Taj, per @KBergCBS. Denver ALMOST makes sense. cbssports.com/nba/writer/ken…
Completely random, but I'll leave this here.
