Damn. Incredible trade for the Clippers.
But they'll always have Jamal Crofl.

I think this sinks the Spurs for the buyout market. Or at least it should. They'd probably try to trade whomever they were planning on cutting, as that would save more than a million bucks.
Unless PATFO can land Kevin Martin, the only thing on they could upgrade is the 3rd string PG (DJ>Ray) since the rest of the players won't be better than Fathead/Simmons. Really no need to sign another PF like Lee/Boozer when West/Diaw are on the bench.

If they want to waive Bonner for a rim protector, Emeka Okafor would be interesting but the guy might have called it a career & Dalembert might be completely washed up at this point. So I guess, Michael Beasley FTW (he dropped a 63 point triple double in the Chinese League All-Star game)

Grizz tanking for Simmons tbh. Putting all their hopes in the other Green, JaMychal Green.

Too late for that. Nuggets would own Memphis pick if its anywhere b/n 6-14 this year. Grizz will make the playoffs, will probably drop to the 8th seed by season end. This is obvious that Memphis wanted an extra 1st to possibly move up in this year's draft, since they know they will be a borderline lottery team by season end.

Feel like we've said every player the Clippers get is a good pickup. Jeff Green is soft, but he could fit in with that team. Would rather Leonard play against him than Mbah a Moute though.
Should do them solid to neutralize Harrison Barnes & can check Draymond. GM Doc:

What a waste. The guy is a potential 20-25 scorer in this league, on high efficiency at that, but the dude wasted it on drugs. Guys a naturally gifted scorer and even a decent defender when he wants to be. Just lazy as and a dope head. Best player in college when he was drafted. Reminds me of Clowney. Extremely gifted athlete, but lazy as . With his talent, how do you not get double digit sacks when you have the best passer rusher in the nfl getting doubled and sometime tripled on the other side of the line.

Clippers could've gotten a solid bench big in Frye for Stephenson + a 2nd rounder, but instead chose to give up Stephenson and a 1st for Jeff Green

Good. If we have to play the Thunder in the second round, Worriers better get a challenge too...

Clippers play the Worriers good for some reason

That's what I figured. No f'in way the Grizz do an even swap. Lance is Allen's future replacement. Really not a bad trade. Zach and Conley will straighten out Lance. Memphis has a bunch of tough guys on their team that don't take Bull . I think this trade actually helps Lance. I am sure Memphis loves his intensity, he just needs to know how to channel it properly.
But sometimes teams need talent and creators. Allen, Barnes, Stephenson is a genuine redundancy situation

The reason is that their point guard/PF aren't a scared of Curry/Draymond.

I mean, Lance is a combo-guard. so I don't think he really overlaps with the others at all.

They also don't have their SF as a primary scoring option tbh..

But Allen is 34, Stephenson is 25. Lance has a 1 1/2 to learn from Allen, one of the best perimeter defenders of this generation. It is an ideal situation for Lance. Allen is probably done in Mem, or at the very least coming off the bench after next season if he resigns, so grooming his replacement now is a smart move by the Grizz.

Barnes is a SF not a SG.

No they don't have their point guard calling plays for himself & getting the ball snatched out of his hands.

A lot of people on GM Doc, but the coach knows his stuff tbh.... Giving his PF the ball while the SF stands in the corner with his hands up

Has our max money SF's kryptonite for sure

Meanwhile Porker only had the worst postseason series by a starting point guard in NBA HISTORY while getting his shyt pushed in by Choke-P3 who even upstaged him during the final 2 minutes of Gm 7 while playing on one leg

Dwelling on the past. Yet he dominated in the 2014 Finals. Get over it people. Maybe EVEN years will be his thing.
