President Obama Makes Trump The Apprentice In Epic Press Conference Take Down

President Obama ripped Donald Trump to shreds during a press conference in California, where he made it clear that he views Trump as an unqualified reality television host who will eventually be rejected by the voters.

I’ll leave it to you to speculate on how this whole race is going to go. I continue to believe Mr. Trump will not be President. And the reason is because I have a lot of faith in the American people, and I think they recognize that being President is a serious job.

It’s not hosting a talk show or a reality show. It’s not promotion. It’s not marketing.
It’s hard. And a lot of people count on us getting it right.

And it’s not a matter of pandering and doing whatever will get you in the news on a given day. And sometimes it requires you making hard decisions even when people don’t like it, and doing things that are unpopular, and standing up for people who are vulnerable but don’t have some powerful political cons uency.

And it requires being able to work with leaders around the world in a way that reflects the importance of the office; and gives people confidence that you know the facts, and you know their names, and you know where they are on a map, and you know something about their history.

And you’re not just going to play to the crowd back home — because they have their own crowds back home — and you’re trying to solve problems.
And so, yes, during primaries, people vent and they express themselves. And it seems like entertainment, and oftentimes it’s reported just like entertainment. But as you get closer, reality has a way of intruding.

And these are the folks who I have faith in, because they ultimately are going to say whoever is standing where I’m standing right now has the nuclear codes with them, and can order 21-year-olds into a firefight, and have to make sure that the banking system doesn’t collapse, and is often responsible for not just the United States of America but 20 other countries that are having big problems or falling apart and are going to be looking for us to do something. And the American people are pretty sensible and I think they’ll make a sensible choice in the end.

    "
the American people are pretty sensible"

OBVIOUSLY, 10Ms of American people are ing stupid, ignorant, senseless assholes with brains addled by Bible-humping Religion, paranoia, childish emotions, believing lies and propaganda from BigCorp, BigGun, Repugs, VRWC, right-wing hate media, TeeVee, etc, etc.

    Trump, Carson, Cruz, Rubio with 10Ms of supporters? G M A F B

Donald Trump Pushes Conspiracy Theory That President Obama Had Scalia Murdered

TRUMP: Well I just heard today and that just a little while ago actually — you know I just landed and I’m hearing it’s a big topic — that’s the question.

And it’s a horrible topic, but they say they found a pillow on his face, which is a pretty unusual place to find a pillow.

    I can’t tell you what — I can’t give you an answer.

You know usually I like to give you answers but I literally just heard it a little while ago.

It’s just starting to come out now, as you know, Michael.

He could very well be eating his words about Trump not becoming POTUS. I think that was a dumb thing to say. He has at least a chance.

Why single out Trump when it's far from a done deal? Why hit down - that probably (slightly) props up Trump?

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS’s ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians.

The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally wise to them. The Pope only heard one side of the story — he didn’t see the crime, the drug trafficking and the negative economic impact the current policies have on the United States. He doesn’t see how Mexican leadership is outsmarting President Obama and our leadership in every aspect of negotiation.

For a religious leader to question a person’s faith is disgraceful. I am proud to be a Christian and as President I will not allow Christianity to be consistently attacked and weakened, unlike what is happening now, with our current President. No leader, especially a religious leader, should have the right to question another man’s religion or faith. They are using the Pope as a pawn and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so, especially when so many lives are involved and when illegal immigration is so rampant.

Trump Reeling After Religious Leaders Condemn His Attack On Pope Francis

Donald Trump is being condemned by religious organizations for his ugly attack on Pope Francis.

    http://www.politicususa.com/2016/02/...iticus+USA+%29

not sure if being condemned by Catholics is "reeling".

I'm sure the Protestant evangelicals either love Donny's attack on the Pope, or don't care. Will his polls now go up again?

The Pope has no business commenting on our borders or politics. What does he think surrounds the Vatican? Why doesn't he tear down those walls and take in refugees? Why doesn't he clean up the pediaphile problem in his church instead of worrying about our politics? If he's so concerned about income inequality, why doesn't he sell off some of the land and property that the Catholic Church owns and give to the poor?

That's what every country says about the US.... East Germany said that about Reagan, about half of the Middle East about Dubya/Barry, North Korea about Clinton and whoever followed, etc etc etc... pretty hypocritical also because he made no comments on borders or politics, but entirely on moral character... now I'm not religious at all, and I could care less about what the Pope says, but I do understand that his role is that of a moral leader...

I went in the middle of them cleaning the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Stark difference between the clean and dirty parts. Amazing place - to think Michelangelo did that lying on his back.

Why are you commenting on the Vatican's politics?
“A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian,"

They are running for President of the US, whose job it is to protect our citizens and enforce our laws. A Christian believes that Jesus is his Lord and Savior. I don't think those two things are incompatible. Why shouldn't someone born, raised and schooled in the Catholic faith comment on their politics?

So you can comment on their politics but the Pope shouldn't comment on ours?

    How does that work?
