OMG, someone said something on a message board, therefore its gospel!

the most Gutless finish to half in eons..0-11 run![]()
I don't believe in bumping this thread until the game is over or all but over tbh
Yeah. We got a nice campfire going in this thread. Nice and toasty.
11 in' points in 2 and half minutes. Their heads are already at all-star weekend.
Only been officially bumped twice, bro. The Warriors and Cavs games.
We're just warming it up here.
Kawhi!
But Christ, what another frustrating game.
And I see Game 6 still hasn't taught Pockovich to foul when up 3 when the shot clock is off.
didn't we do that against detroit last season but lost when TD turned it over on the inbounds and jennings drove it down court for the win?
Yes, but you can't be results oriented like that. TD rarely makes re ed TOs in that situation.
It's like the Clippers without Griffin situation, tbh... you can survive without Manu for a while against scrubs, and the team might even play well feeding off that adversity, but in the long run you're not a better team and you'll need him back...
Luckily we get a break now with the ASG and hopefully he'll be back soon, tbh...
good game spurs....
Hot as the Sun in here. 32 points a minute from half-time!
Will we see our 3rd official bump of the year?
All of the above sans Kawhi.
I'm gonna venture to say that the first 24 minutes after an all-star break are not a good predictor of playoff success.
Call me a cliff-jumper, but I'm starting to lose faith in this team.
Parker has been back to his old self since 2016 (putting up 10 ppg on a god-awful 50.2 TS%). Duncan is still a monster defensively but still looks like he's clearly regressed from last year (maybe he's coasting, but he's about to be 40 and is having issues with his knee). Manu had surgery and who knows what he'll look like when he comes back.
Just don't think this team has enough to beat GS with the big 3 playing how I think they'll play. Kawhi/Aldridge are great but they're not good enough to carry us past the Warriors. Mills/Green/Diaw have all been wildly inconsistent too.
There's still plenty of time for things to change, and 1 game on the first night back from the ASB isn't really a big deal, but I don't know. If this were another year and GS didn't look so dominant, I'd be much more confident. I think the Spurs are a great team...just not on Golden State's level.
They're not on the same level as OKC/CLE either, or even potentially the Clippers. Getting LMA and West along with Kawhi taking another step forward isn't anywhere near enough to overcome Parker being finished and the mediocre play of much of the bench.
Nah I wouldn't go that far. I still like us in a series vs. any non-GS team...well, I guess it depends on Parker.
It's just really hard to be hopeful when one of your key starters who is one of the few people capable of running the offense looks as poorly as Parker has looked in 2016.
We're missing 2 of our top 4 players, it makes sense we'll struggle against decent teams, tbh
Yep. Got back within 5 and then couldn't get a damn stop to save our lives. That's some pussy that is going to kill us when it matters most. Couldn't score AND gave up 100 in the process.
A week off and we come back even more injured and listless. No one is beating GSW anyway I guess.
3rd official bump of the season.
Clips missing valuable pieces too though. No excuse.
