Boban got us back into the game, replacing him with Ander made us lose. it
Only reason I can think of for resting Boban as much as possible today.

Pop is trying to help Kawhi's cause for the MVP just in case someone hip checks Curry into a season ending injury![]()
"CIA Pop
Non-Issue"
Pop was wearing an old blazer with early 2000s note cards.
Alzheimer's
Messina was trolling Pop tonight...
I would be a lot more ticked off if this was a playoff game, or if we didn't play tomorrow if he pulled this . I don't believe Pop is that dumb that he sits Boban and West who were playing really good together. I know Clips went small a bit, but you take advantage of your strengths.
Can't blame Pop on this one. Boban gets tired quickly and can't play for long stretches...even though he'd easily beat Kyle Anderson in a 100 yard dash.
You can't give him a pass for this, SP... You're above that. His coaching has been the whole season.
I remember some tweet from a beat writer talking about a fan yelling at Pop "Good coaching out there!" after a win, and he responded with "I didn't do a damn thing"... He wasn't lying tbh
Pop isn't infallible but he's a HOF coach who hasn't been a problem other than waving the white flag early or straight up trying to tank games to send a message. I can't hate on the man. But Boban simply can't play big minutes, especially against athletic and/or speedy teams. He gasses himself out.
Doesn't gas out more than Diaw 0.2, and he's 10 times the player Anderson is... Just inexcusable. He benched Boban right after blocking/disrupting Aldrich, and called a timeout for the Clippers right after Spurs cut it to 5
He brought in McCallum around the time Tony did this...
Can't argue about that timeout. I thought he took the timeout to take Anderson out for fading away against a 6 foot player and a couple other shots in a row. Bad night for everyone, really.
His first play out of that timeout was a Kyle Anderson post up
Just an all round ty job he did
That fade-away!LMA been coaching him.
