Yeah a win is a win but do this to a real team next month, tbh.
Kobe has made those fade-aways over plenty of guys besides Kyle. This game may be a VERY good building block for Kyle, tbh, and to Simmons to a lesser extent. We need those guys to continue to develop - you are right. I do believe, however that for a half season Rasual is capable of playing 20-25 mins./game. I hope we don't need that, but I'm just sayin'...

ooo thanks for sharing that. I have to put that on his church!
If he knocks down just a couple of those open jumpers, he suddenly has a great game. Thought he played well overall. Still just 22 years old.
Everyone's a number until the playoffs TBH.
yeah, and getting burn as a starter.... like I said, accessible opponent tonight, but I thought he did well...
I did not realize Danny was in foul trouble. I am not sure Bill and Sean were either... They didn't make anything of it.
But, which team would you want the spurs to play in the 2nd round? OKC or Clippers?
It's a wonderful day!!
Great winning thread Bill!!
If we are actually in the Varejo sweepstakes, I mean why? He's not the future TD replacement and otherwise our bigs are pretty crowded.
Cheers my friend!Sending Kobe off forever is a special moment for all Spurs fans.
It was terrific to see him take it strong to the hole on that last drive. He aggressively dove on the floor for a lose ball and he had a couple of very stron rebounds in traffic in the last game. I think he is learning a little nasty, and Pop is pushing him for that kind of development at this point.
Yea, Danny got in foul trouble with the 5 fouls and we can't play Rasual 30 minutes, so we really needed him this game... he played a role in this win and we did get the win.. that is all that matters. Other guys played well too, but he had a tough assignment.

And the season sweep

Hopefully we don't need that, if Kyle is healthy we see Pop prefers to give more minutes to him, so long as he's not killing us out there, not only cause he's younger, but he's also a developing young guy. I always remember Manu's words: "he's earned it (simmons too). It's not like Pop is being nice Pop out there. They went after it and earned this chance."
I am not sure how many minutes Rasual was playing for the Wiz, but he burned out after a while. I would keep him like Manu at 20, if it's a need. Both about the same age, so it seems right. But like you said, we hopefully don't need that from him.
Oh I double checked. Rasual 19 minutes.
Glad to see Kyle with a lot of burn. He did decent. The reality is, he's going to get a lot of open shots. He's difficult to cover because of his length and dribbling.
Also, this is a back to back game and he also played decent minutes the previous game.
There are a lot of haters here in ST, they just don't like his game. I'm however am encouraged with his game. His length is going to be a valuable asset.
Well, isn't that the point of basketball?
Green has been awful. He's starting to struggle again on offense and defense. The Spurs will need to explore other options after the season if he doesn't turn it around. Everyone seemed to bounce back after yesterday's crappy performance but him.
Unfortunate we didn't get a good chance to deal him before Thursday.
It would be great to have a two guard who can play solid D and create off the dribble. The team also needs an infusion of youth and athleticism in the backcourt.
