Hill has long arms and those type of defenders tend to bother Kobe. Just look at Kobe's struggles against Prince in the '04 finals. Prince's length took Kobe out of that series whereas the next year Prince had a hard time checking Wade and Manu.

Prince is 6'9" with a 7'2" wingspan. A better comparison is Tony Allen who's 6'4" has excellent hands like Hill (both have 6'9" wingspans). Kirby was the tiest Finals MVP in 2010 in part b/c of Tony Allen.
