DPG, take your ego-driven banhammer, and your delusional interpretations, and shove them up your ass. I dont live and breath ST like some of these posters. And creating another account is OBVIOUSLY too easy as we've seen. Ill see you on the other side, champ.
My ego? You are the one who saw a perceived slight and took someone standing up to a poster using slurs as negative and made it about yourself.

I gave you the chance to take a bet and prove yourself and you cowarded away. You were very clear that you found it "odd" that I said something to a guy using phobic and anti-Semitic slurs and not against the racists.

Then proceeded to destroy your own argument when you said you saw the Nazi's banned because you though the "Nazi" alts were actually Nazi's and not racists

So you getting upset about not banning more racist posters over phobic/anti-Semitic posters in fact makes you racist?

For someone who doesn't live and breath you sure put on your captain save a poster hat real quick and then got shut down. Also, you can be IP-banned instead of regular banned and that shuts down the alts.

The second seed is virtually locked. Golden state is in a long road stretch. Win the remaining Road game and hope Golden State loses two of 5 in their next 5 straight road games.

Then everything else is in your hand to steal one. The spurs probably have a 5% chance to steal the one seed. Super unlikely, but they play decent teams..we will see.

It's crazy. I've learned a lot by being a Spurs fan (just by default and seeing things done the right way more often than not), but I try really hard not to get spoiled.

There was a moment a few years ago when I was really spoiled. Duncan looked done and I was ready to send him on his way (not in an angry way, but was thinking purely basketball). Luckily Tim was not done and still is helping anchor a legit contender. Not only that, I also quickly learned that even if it meant not being a "legit contender" I would rather enjoy 50 wins and a playoff experience with DPG than win without.

Im more than grateful now I get to keep watching the real core I grew up with play and keep winning regardless of winning a le.

When they are gone, it will suck, but it will also be great. I'm just in no hurry to see that day come.

Eloquently said. I completely agree. This sustained excellence is unparalleled. I'm sure we're all fans of teams in other sports and you know how rare it is to have a true contender even once a decade or so. If you have a bad organization it can be decades between contending much less chips. But the Spurs just keep rolling on. TD and co have seen-the-rise-and-fall of the Shaq-Kobe Lakers, the Wallace(s) Pistons, the Seven Second Suns, the KG-Pierce-Allen Celtics, the Kobe-Pau Lakers, the Heatles, various Dirk-lead Mavs teams, and now face the latest super team - the Splash Bro Warriors (as well as LeBron's Second Coming with the Cavs). If someone were to write a history of the Post-Jordan NBA ( from the end of the Bulls, forget the Wizards era) not only would TD be the dominant player, but he and Pop and Tony and Manu would be the key interviews. Because they faced and outlasted all the other great teams (up to now at least).

If you pro-rate the 99 team's wins to equal a 50-win season, I think they've won 50 or more every year TD has been in the league. And that's pushing 20 years.

That is absolutely incredible when you put it in that perspective. Amazing run from these guys and we've still got a chance for another. That's all you can ask for, having another chance. However, to get to this point, you have to work really, really hard to put yourself in the position to have that chance. The Spurs have done that and are continuing to do that. It's also what you do with that chance that matters. Most teams don't get that, and I really do appreciate that and don't/won't take it for granted. I don't think the Spurs do either.

Well said Bill and DPG- we have all been on a ride unparalleled in the world of sports- it just doesn't happen anywhere. The culture the Spurs have built is something to be inspired by and appreciated. I feel extremely lucky this has all unfolding during my time as a fan. This team has been a positive, fun, and entertaining center for my whole family for decades. I'm grateful! If you're gonna 'rally around' something- why not the Spurs!
