I completely agree. This sustained excellence is unparalleled. I'm sure we're all fans of teams in other sports and you know how rare it is to have a true contender even once a decade or so. If you have a bad organization it can be decades between contending much less chips. But the Spurs just keep rolling on. TD and co have seen-the-rise-and-fall of the Shaq-Kobe Lakers, the Wallace(s) Pistons, the Seven Second Suns, the KG-Pierce-Allen Celtics, the Kobe-Pau Lakers, the Heatles, various Dirk-lead Mavs teams, and now face the latest super team - the Splash Bro Warriors (as well as LeBron's Second Coming with the Cavs). If someone were to write a history of the Post-Jordan NBA ( from the end of the Bulls, forget the Wizards era) not only would TD be the dominant player, but he and Pop and Tony and Manu would be the key interviews. Because they faced and outlasted all the other great teams (up to now at least).
If you pro-rate the 99 team's wins to equal a 50-win season, I think they've won 50 or more every year TD has been in the league. And that's pushing 20 years.
