But really, Joe would be a terrible fit here. They don't call him Iso Joe for nothing. He's more talented than Simmons, but Simmons is a far better fit for the team. (That's who Joe would be taking minutes from imo)
Looks like he's going to be bought out soon. Hopefully Sean Marks can somehow try to sway him to the Spurs, but I am almost certain he'll go to the Cavs

According to Stein's report, ATL, Miami, OKC, Houston and the Celtics are interested as well as the Raptors and the Cavs. I think he would be a good fit in Miami. I think he might lean to the Thunder as well.

And Joe Johnson used to be in that little best friends group with LeBron, Wade, and CP3 until he got replaced by Gabrielle Union... Pretty much a lock he goes to the Cavs.
I'd like for him to join the Spurs. Its not like he would hurt the team on a rental basis. He couldn't be any worse than Danny Green right now.
Danny Green is one of the 5 best perimeter defenders in the league, and shooting 44% from 3 in 2016.... So tired of hearing that ignorant all over the city.

Kawhi, Paul George, MKG, Iguodala, Tony Allen, PJ Tucker, Aminu, Jimmy Butler, Ariza, Middleton, Danny Green... Wow, I never thought about how Danny could be considered top 5, because it seems like their are more good perimeter defenders than that. The only people I would definitely put over Danny is Kawhi and MKG and he is no lower than Aminu, PJ Tucker, and Ariza; good .
Just curious, how does his salary work? If he signs with the Cavs for the minimum, the Nets are responsible for the difference, is that correct?
