SPAM is nigh upon us and I was curious how you ranked the players on the roster.

Leonard - best MVP candidate we've had since Duncan circa 2005
Aldridge - slowly but steadily coming along, defense has been a big plus
Duncan - defensive anchor, still can find post matchups that favor him on offense
Parker - admirable job taking on new role. actually fighting through screens in the regular season this year. jumper is still there, his finishing is rounding into form.
Manu - remains compe ive leader and the bench offense runs through him, defense has taken a step back from his glory days but his jump shot has been excellent
Diaw - money on pnr defense/offense, quick feet belie his size, dominates bench post matchups
West - rebounding used to be a problem for the second unit. it's not anymore. I love how he steps to on hard fouls. He has melded with the bench crew seamlessly
Green - shot wasn't there out the gate but unlike previous years he has not let that effect his overall game. His defense has been outstanding.
Mills - shot was slo slow out the gate but his energy remains infectious. now that his shot is coming around he is moving up the charts.
Anderson - defense and rebounding has improved dramatically this year. his confidence in the offense as a scorer has also improved. he came in with the vision to pass.
Simmons - tremendous upside due to his athleticism. Outside of Kawhi, he is the best scorer on penetration we have. still a bit unbridled but he is coming along.
Butler - odd man out with the young guys improving. tremendous respect for his professionalism. he is always ready to play.
Marjonovic - missed TC and still struggles to be in the right spots. still looks confused in certain sets. physically dominant when he is confident but still obvsiously feeling his way out.
McCallum - athletic and good on defense; will improve as he learns the system. Spurs PG learning curve is steep with how the cannot stop. Looks lost on offense too often to be a factor there as of yet.
Bonner - end of the bench. release still slow. quickness is a liability. Now he's hurt.

They need him to be the #2 option on offense. He's been mostly LMBeta up to this point, but we'll just see in the playoffs.

The spurs can probably still work around something and be compe ive without Aldridge or Parker or TD or Manu...

Without kawhi, this team is going to get ass raped by most good compe ion.

Butler has played well, but Anderson has given more minutes, has started games (that we won), and has subbed in for all of Timmy, Manu and Kawhi when they were injured and he has bailed Diaw out, who can be a major contributor, from some stinker games.

That kind of versatility has allowed the team to keep a winning streak despite the injuries. Anderson being ahead in the rotation, having played more minutes, competing against starters, and his better stats despite more minutes against better compe ion than Butler all point to him being the more impactful player.

Against most teams, TP is ahead of Manu but NOT against the Dubs. In that matchup, TP needs to pass the ing ball and get out of the way. Give him limited minutes and "hide" him on Barnes when he's out there. He's not for that matchup.

nah, Bonner will get significant rotation minutes off the bench when Ibaka is in the game, if we play OKC in the 2nd round.

Agree with OP but swap Green and West. Green's defense in transition and his ability to spread the defense is critical to getting out early.

Frankenspur has to be close to last.

West is way too low on these lists. He came to SA for a ring, and I've got a feeling he's going to be an absolute monster off the bench in the playoffs. He'll be ready to rumble with the likes of Ibaka and Draymond Green.
