Durant is the most media-protected player I have ever seen in the NBA, tbh..only Chris Paul is there with him..

Others got bashed relentlessly for not winning(Lebron, Garnett, Dirk after 2007, etc) and all the losers of this generation(Carmelo, Dwight, Harden, Vince Carter for a while, T-Mac for a while, etc) are always under scrutiny..

Dominos always gets a pass, for some reason, despite being in his 9th season..yet he constantly speaks against the media

Shaq didn't win until his 8th season & even ditched the Magic to chase lime the light but he didn't get highly criticized b/c he led a team to the Finals early in his career ala Durant.

Shaq played on a legit contender since his 3rd season & it took him 6 runs to finally win a chip despite rolling w/ perennial All-Star such as Penny, Eddie, Kobrick, Van Exel, Rice along w/ solid role players like Horace, Horry, Fox, Campbell, D-Scott, Nick Anderson

KD has played on a legit contender since his 4th season (2010-11) & has had a couple of seasons derailed by major injuries thus far:
-2013: Russy
-2015: KD

.....so he has really had 3 postseason run w/ legit squad:
-2011
-2012
-2014 (Ibaka had a fake injury & Tony was injured so it cancels out)

Thus, he still has 3 postseason runs to burn to match 2000 Snack which essentially puts him in 2009 Kobrick schedule as far as age/season.

-Choke-P3/Wince/T-Bag/FatMelo/Minny KG never made it to the Finals.

-Dwert/LeBrick have a negative vibe & a unlikable personality.

-Dork had the most epic choke job in NBA history a season after blowing a 2-0 lead in the Finals.

-HarDone never lead a team to the Finals & was ty when he was the 3rd wheel.

If Draymond continue his shooting slump, i might as well trap the out of Curry and live with Green shooting or hitting open teammates..Can't allow Steph to heat up into video game mode..

I've been saying that from Day 1 along w/ hacking Bogut/Ezeli when they inbound the ball & Iggy/Draymond on fastbreaks. Playing a box-and-1 is better than letting him walk into a 3.

I remember that come to think of it. That was the 1-8 series Chicago lost to Philly because D-Rose tore out his knee the first game of that series. Kind of like Manu's broken arm in the 1-8 out West the year before. Neither of those really count to me. The only 1-8 upset that really counts is the Mavs/GSW in 2007 because the Mavs were fully healthy, 67 win season all of that (everyone expected championship or bust) and they flat out the bed--no excuses.
