I guess it's Miller Time?
When Kyle Anderson was drafted, this was the guy I thought who had the most similar game, high basketball IQ, nothing rushed, a very delibrate game. I always thought Miller fit the Spurs, too bad he's coming at the end of his career.
Miller shall mentor Kyle
and Kyle could become one of the most unique players in Spurs history
Pop knows he can not beat the Warriors with slow pace, then will try to beat them with much slower pace ..lmao
Can we call Andre "Older Man Riverwalk?"
He scores 52 points on nothing but layups and midrange jumpers! Looks like a smaller version of Bobo!
Don't expect Miller to see any meaningful minutes. He's nothing more than this year's TMAC.
I'm hoping Andre "Pryor" Miller will mentor Kyle a bit. As someone else said, give him some swag. Something like this:
Kyle can't do worse than Wilder.![]()
Why does it feel like the Spurs end of the bench players are like a coaching staff.... Bonner, Miller, Butler?
Wrong. Andre will play more than you realize. 2 PG lineups = more playing time for the third.
Don't see it happening. He'll get Ray M type minutes during the RS, but Pop won't waver too much from what he's being doing all season. I don't expect Miller to play any significant role come PO time.
Now you're just moving the goal posts.
Andre will play, this isn't T-Mac....if Martin comes on, that's your T-Mac player.
IMO this is another CIA Pop move, keeping Andre away from the Clippers... especially with the way TP has struggled both with CP3 and Austin Rivers...
Who's minutes is he going to take? Parker's? Mills'? I can't see why Pop would want to deviate from what he's been doing all season, especially now this late in the season.
Maybe McCallum's minutes? :-\
Spurs already got Anderson that's coming into good form facilitating the offense. Manu also hasn't come back into the court.
All I can see is that Simmons had a lot of trouble covering a crafty guard like Chris Paul, so maybe Miller can help out.
As I said in a previous post, I expect Miller to play the RM role. And, no, Miller is now Chris Paul stopper. The Spurs will keep doing what they've always be doing with Paul.
You do realize that when the Spurs go to a two PG offense...someone is eventually going to sit right? Guess who comes in.
