So he'll miss the Worriers game. Great.

hopefully KMart is on the team by then because if Kyle is our 6th man... RIP home streak

Lol people that thought signing Andre Miller meant Manu's injury was more severe.

If he's back next week or even 2 weeks from now, he won't miss it. Warriors game isn't till the 19th

Matt Bonner (left calf) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Pistons and Manu Ginobili (testicular surgery) has been ruled out. Ginobili is recovering nicely though and could be back in the lineup as soon as Saturday.

I'm going to the Spurs game against the Pacers next Monday and the game against the wolves next Tuesday. I hope there might be a chance that I get to see Manu play in one of the games.

Wow that's amazing news. Looks like he'll have well over a month to get his conditioning/rhythm back before playoffs

Glad about Manu, but I am bummed about Bonner, specially after this tidbit:

@JabariJYoung: Easy to say that, but, Bonner told me months ago he still wants to play a few more years. He wasn't joking #Spurs twitter.com/austin_cheney0…

Bonner is a great lock room guy and has improved defensively. He's worked a lot on his game since he first came aboard. It also doesn't mean he'll be with the Spurs, but if so it's not a bad quality the Spurs are loyal to their guys. They wouldn't keep him and/or play him meaningful minutes anyway imo.

Glad to hear Manu will be back soon. I just hope he isn't pushing himself to return too early because he's eager to come back.

Look at BklynSpursfan's sig in this thread. That's what I'm talking about. Kyle passing up open shots. The look Patty gave him was as great as it gets but he passes it instantly to West who then has to pump fake his defender off him. That's the opposite of good to great, and it's also not "high bball IQ"

You mean he wants to get paid to warm the bench for a "few more years"?...Who wouldn't want that gig especially when you could fake injuries & not travel/practice.

I have signatures ignored and if I was so inclined could find similar plays from others including worse plays of guys passing up shots to dribble into contested one's or a TO. Use your imagination to figure out which ones.

On the other hand, many plays a can be found of Kyle making the right plays. If Pop didn't like what he was doing, he would not be playing simple as that, nor would his contract have been picked up for a third season.

By the way, Kyle was an unselfish pass first PG, West had asked for the ball, he directed it to him, a hockey pass was made to him to reverse the ball. It happens often in the Spurs.
