I remember father was going to be yet another Daddy stopper.
Uh, uh.
Did you ever think you would hear about another Sabonis mentioned along with NBA prospect?
I remember father was going to be yet another Daddy stopper.
Uh, uh.
It's a good thing Denver has both Houston's and Portland's picks this year. Could totally see one of those teams taking him.
Certainly has his father's touch around the basket.
woulda been awesome to see prime sabonis in the nba. broken down TOSB sabonis was a pretty solid player anyway
There was a whole lot of funk & junk in his game though, 21.
Sucked that Sabas came when he was a TOSB with bad knees
Dude could run and dunk like a black dude, combine that with his skills and vision
The Bulls would have 3 less les
BBIQ is low, but only 19 has room to grow.
Gonzaga has a Polish center on the team that is better imo. Currently out for rest of year with injury.
But again at 19, Sabonis could pass up Polish Guy.
Gonzaga plays in such a weak conference and then chokes every time they face a legit top 20 team so it's hard to say how he will do against NBA prospect level comp.
He was still pretty good despite his age and two previous torn ACLs.
I'm a big fan of Sabonis... one of the most skilled and talented big in history tbh fwiw... I hope his son will also have a great career
too bad he is developing his talent in a US college tbh... I've nothing against US college BB but he would become a less stereotyped bb player if he has opportunity to play in Europe
Looks like he has about 1/100th of the talent and physical gifts his dad had. Arvydas was like a 7'3" Garnett if he was a way better passer than Divac with the shooting range of Sam Perkins.
Domantas is still projected as a late 1st-Round pick right now if he comes out. He's got great touch around the basket, but he's only 6'10 with no range and little athleticism so his ceiling is limited. He'll never be anywhere near the player his Papa was.
