Thunder have Clippers/Warriors on B2B..Lose both and LAC them ties in loss column....
Cheering for chris paul. Easily a first team all nba if you get past raw stats and I say this and Im a fan of westbrook. Paul has lost griffin for significant time and they're on their way to steal that third seed from Durant-Westbrook-Ibaka-Kanter and everyone else playing relativley healthy.
It's not that these games aren't decent, they are. It's that even the best games out there, like Warriors v Thunder the other night: great game, highly entertaining because you have two top tier players going off. However they aren't even guarding each other, not really. There's no real matchup now. The great players are often guarded by some role guy on the other team. Kawhi built a name by being able to guard Lebron (as well as anyone) but there's no other end of that. Kawhi doesn't go to the other end and dominate Lebron. Oh he did good in the Finals, and that matchup has blossomed into must-see TV, but you can count those on one hand and rarely get to see one a month.
But he's a nighmare matchup for the Spurs..I would rather have them stay behind OKC since odds we aren't going to pass Golden State for Top seed..You really wouldn't like to be the team that Paul breakthrough against to the Conference Finals for first time..Let warriors deal with what could be his and the Clippers last stand as presently constructed...
Rockets going to lose to the in Pelicans at home![]()
Oh I know what you mean..just think with all the westbrook talk, Paul has actually been equally impressive.
Really rooting for them Clips. Spurs always avenge playoff losses, I want those ers in the 2nd round.
When was the last time the Spurs didn't avenge a playoff loss? Christ, I can't even remember. Don't think it has been in the GOHG era.
Idk, this Clipper team really presents match up problems. It'd be a really tough series, though OKC/GS in the second round would be must-see tv (as would LAC/GS tbh).
Man - bad loss for NO. They needed this one for their playoff hopes.
Not happening this year. Also don't want them to beat us tomorrow.
Thank Christ, I'd a never heard the end of it. SOB, that was close.
You're susceptible now. You're mighty, yes, but, you're comprehensively at risk.
I'm with you. We'd crush the Flippers. OKC, on the other hand, is a buzzsaw we should actively seek to avoid.
Based on what empirical, UNT? They beat you nigh on a year ago, in Texas!
Based on the fact that they barely beat us last year with home court while playing better than this year and we're much better than last year too. It would be a comfy 5 or 6 games series, where the outcome is never in doubt.
That's what I thought last year and look what happened.
LAC ended up topsy, you ended up turvy.
That's not what I thought last season, which is the important thing here. I'm godly at knowing which teams are going to prevail on a certain matchup. Too bad I don't gamble.
