    Damn.
I have been too busy to listen to those pair of idiots.
I really got to give them a time slot. The comedy and entertainment value of imagining people really trusting these fools is A+

"How to argue with a liberal, I can teach you you dumb bas "
Maybe you all should give Rush a 6 week try - see how the other side thinks. I've been here, what, 6 months, listening to the liberal side. Rush doesn't endorse any candidate - he just wants anyone who can beat Hillary.

Trump is a saint. When the worst of the worst s in the country. These disgusting animals like the MIC, neocons, Bushes and Clintons. When they are all united against you it means you are the only hope for humanity. Lets hope The Movement is not stopped by a bullet or a mass smear campaign.

wtf. Like this place is all liberal all the time.

Your problem is your self identified end of the spectrum consists of the likes of WC, DarrinS, vy65, and a whole slew of mouthbreathers. Nevermind independents like BB, wine and others who don't fit your paradigm. This is just stupid. Reminds me of the player fan stupidity on the main board.

IMO the main reason for the establishment's disdain for him is that he's not actually as "conservative" as his controversial comments might suggest (quotations because I don't think banning Muslims, building a wall etc. calling Bush a liar, are actually conservative positions). Strip him away of that stuff, and what you probably have is someone who is more on the liberal side of social issues (he hasn't asked to defund Planned Parenthood, he didn't back that Bible-thumping Kentucky woman, he's never come out against gay marriage as far as I know, etc). Substantively, and beneath his exterior, he's probably a lot more liberal than guys like Romney, and definitely Cruz. He's also not beholden to their and their or either party's for that matter special interests.

My gut tells me we'll get a better sense of who Trump is and what he really thinks, for better or for worse (especially as the attacks ramp up on him), in the general election. I think he'll tame a lot of the rhetoric down, and show himself to be a lot more reasonable than people think he is right now. And by reasonable I mean "middle ground", and I think GOP establishment knows this, and that's why they hate him.

He can't be reasonable when Hillary pulls out the ammo, and there is a load of it. The Republicans have waited to exploit it. Waited too long. The reason the old guard is scared is because they know "they" will lose the presidency AGAIN.

    And their party is fracturing.

GOP candidates almost always drift to the middle after they've locked up the nomination....you're right though, Trump is no social conservative, which is why Cruz has become the anti-trump candidate de' jour.....it's a Trump-Cruz race at this point..
