That probably is like 5-10 on the team tbh.

If it were just that, that would be one thing. But we all know the stat heavily favors players that shoot lots of free throws.
Players who get to the FT line are typically more efficient than those who don't. But regardless, look at eFG% (which doesn't take into account FTs at all, strictly 2-pointers and 3-pointers):

"Call me old-fashioned" isn't an excuse for ignorance...

FG% is in no way better than eFG%. A player who shoots 100 3's at a 40% clip will score more points than a player who shoots 100 2's at a 55% clip. There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't include the added value of a 3-pointer when judging a player's shooting efficiency.

Your use of logic is not going to work here. But I'm not a TP hater so let them revere him, tbh.

Yes, that is another advanced metric. So far we've had about 4 different ones that give us 4 different lists.

Fouls too. The ability to drive and get in position where the opponent needs to foul is an art too.

TS% is the ability to score. Better than eFG and raw FG%.

Lol Miller hasn't even attempted a shot and already played 20+ minutes for us
I went back and looked and totally forgot TMac never scored for Spurs. Longest stint for any guy not to score?

Fair enough, Parker is a better scorer than Ginobili, Aldridge, Duncan, and Mills this year if you go by that. But obviously the stat can't adjust for players that play low minutes...that's just one of it's weaknesses.

We add context. Usage and TS% usually have an inverse correlation.

It has as much merit as Tony leading the team in 3P% last season.

Nice job by Tony but Steph probably passes him and if Kawhi continues the trend of playing better after the ASB he'll pass him as well. Still, top 3 and behind the top 2 MVP candidates isn't a bad thing.
