    He is on a tear to end the season..That's why I don't want Pop to break his rhythm with multiple DNPs..maybe once or twice in last week of year in ty places like Denver..need him tto do it against other contenders coming up..

    It's not a reach to say that Kawhi is the 2nd best player in the League right now.

    ing insane the job the Spurs have done to bring him along. Chip is the best shooting coach in NBA history without a doubt, he's our secret weapon.

    Last year Kawhi was an arguable top 20 player. The year prior he was basically a 3&D guy, at least until the finals.

    And he's 24. Good lord.

    Kawhi was already a top 10 player in the NBA last season, and he was top 5 in RPM too. This year, he's #3 in RPM, behind only Curry and Westbrook.

    Thank God he doesn't like being in the limelight. It would suck seeing a guy of his talent being lured away by a big market team (like the Lakers or Knicks), where he could get big endorsement money.

    It's been pretty amazing to watch. This is Kawhi's second 30-point game THIS SEASON. For comparison, Parker only has one this season. Now, making the MJ comparison might be a little premature in the sense that Kawhi's career high is 32 points, and Jordan averaged more points than that for 5 seasons of his career. But I definitely agree that his shot form is beginning to resemble Jordan's more and more!

    But think about it: In MJ's best playoff game he scored 63 against arguably the greatest team of all time. Kawhi almost scored half of that in a regular-season game against a team that literally made the playoffs last season!

    I have been saying for the past 5 years the Lakers should double his salary and steal him away. Gosh I hate my team right now. But props on Kiwi. guy is hitting iso post ups at a high rate. Knocking down open 3's at a Curryesque level. Also while playing elite level defense.

    Not sure he is top 2 I think it's curry and Lebron still but #3 is probably a debate between Kiwi, durant,paul and Westbrook and he is by far the best defender of that group. Amazing.

    Saw that too and with less showboating.. crazy thing is I flipped from the Mavs game when spurs were down 2. 3 minutes later the game was over.
